Brian, Aras and maaybe Yul are the only ones I can think of, but I don't even like Brian anymore after he shot the puppy. There are some winners I have
liked, but I liked others more. I liked Sandra, but would have liked it if Jon were to win.

Well, let's review:
Borneo: I didn't start watching from the beginning. And I didn't like Rich at the time. But in retrospect, he deserved to win that season. Outback: I wanted Elizabeth to win. So no to that season. Africa (Kenya): Unfortunately, I missed a lot of episodes that season. In hindsight, I can give a "meh" to Ethan. I don't really care. Marquesas: Out of the final three, I would have been happy with Neleh or Kathy (Kathy a little more so). But Vecepia? Most boring winner so far (at that point). I wasn't pissed she won, but I wasn't really rooting for her either. Thailand: Was there anybody to really root for in that season? I didn't want Brian to win, but I'm not sure who I DID want to win. A Shii-Ann win would have been awesome, but she left too soon due to a lame twist. Amazon: Christy or Rob C. winning could have saved this season. But Jenna? Not so much. Pearl Islands: I would have liked to see Rupert win. But since he didn't, a Sandra win was about the next best thing. This is one of the only times I've been truly happy about a winner. All-Stars: Absolutely tragic winner. Someone who should never have been on an all-star season won, which we now know is the curse of all-star seasons. Horrible final two, disappointing winner. America's Tribal Council: This was another one of the only times I've been happy about a winner. It was a great way to get the bitter taste out of our mouths from all-stars. Vanuatu: This was not just a disappointing winner, but the cause of a major WTF moment. I still don't understand why Chris started screaming profanities when he won. Why was he pissed? He just won Survivor! It was really, really awkward. So no to this season too. Palau: I would have liked to see Stephanie win. So no to this season. Guatemala: Again, I would have liked to see Stephanie win. So no to this season too. Exile Island: A Cirie win would have been nice. An Aras win was disappointing. Cook Islands: Yul? I can take him or leave him. I'm pretty indifferent about this one. Fiji: Earl has been the most boring winner to date. But there weren't a lot of other people I wanted to see win besides Yau-Man, maybe. China: Todd was just ok. PG coming back from behind to win would have been a lot cooler. Micronesia: The trend of undeserving all-star candidates winning a season continued with Parvati. She should have never been on that season, so I sure as hell didn't want her to win. I could have been happy with Cirie, Ami, Eliza, or hell, even Jason. But the Parvati win sucked big time. Had it been a F3 with Cirie winning, this could have been one of the best seasons yet. Gabon: Bob was just too boring for me. I wanted to see Kenny win. Tocantins: If Taj won, we wouldn't have had the crapfest F2 that was JT and Stephen. So this season is also a no. So, I guess I'm only happy about two winners -- Pearl Islands and America's Tribal Council. S19 doesn't look promising. So here's hoping for a good winner for S20... |

I got into Survivor "late," so I've noticed that completely changes whom you root for during the season if you watch it on DVD.
If you already know the winner ahead of time, you kinda just naturally root for him/her. If you watch in on TV, it's completely different. That said, though: Borneo: Watched it on DVD. Rooted for Hatch. Outback: Didn't want Tina to win, but was a deserving victory despite Colby's stupid play. Africa: Was indifferent. Marquesas: Was indifferent. Thailand: Knew whom to root for ahead of time. Amazon: Not a Jenna fan. Pearl Islands: Wanted Fairplay to win. All-Stars: Worst. Season. Ever. Wanted someone to repeat, but not a chance. Vanuatu: Rooted for Chris. Palau: Rooted for Tom. Guatemala: Terrible season. Exile Island: Who didn't want Cirie to win? Cook Islands: Was indifferent. Fiji: Was indifferent. China: Was indifferent. Micronesia: Fans vs. "Favorites"? Ugh. Another terrible season. Gabon: Was indifferent. Tocantins: The show forced JT down our throats, but actually kinda hoped Stephen would win. Thought he was the actual puppet master. Samoa: Russell, please. S20: Tom or Sandra, please, though I'd settle for Russell, Tyson, or even Rupert. So... 4/20 ... potentially 6/20 by next spring. |

Borneo: Not displeased with the winner, but Greg, Rudy and Colleen were my favorites.
Australian Outback: Definitely Colby, Tina was not exactly a favorite out of a cast of people I couldn't connect with. Africa: First favorite that wins. Marquesas: Didn't mind V, but Kathy definitely should have won. Thailand: Horrible cast, horrible season, horrible final 2, horrible winner. Amazon: Matthew or Christy should have won, couldn't stand during most of the season. Pearl Islands: Second time a favorite wins. All-Stars: The three most undeserving All Stars ended up being the final 3? WTF!? Vanuatu: Eugh at the winner, should have been Ami. Palau: Ian or Steph should have won. Tom's personality didn't appeal to me. Guatemala: Third time my favorite wins. Panama: I really liked Aras, but Cirie deserved the win. Cook Islands: Fourth time my favorite wins. Fiji: One word - Yauman. China: Todd played a great game, and would have been my favorite in any other season. But I love the cast too much to have him as favorite. James <333 Micronesia: Once again, James <3 and Amanda <3 Parvati was my least favorite Favorite besides Fairplay. Gabon: Sugar or Matty, but I liked Bob a lot as well. Tocantins: Blagh, Stephen or Brendan FTW! Samoa: Right now, i'd like to see Liz or Jaison win. RIP Betsy. Favorites winning: Ethan, Sandra, Danni & Yul. |

Six times.
Brian kept me entertained the entire time, and I for one loved seeing him walk all over everybody. Aras(I don't drink the Cirie kool aid even though I respect her gameplay) Vecepia, Yul and Earl by default. Parvati. I picked her by the second episode to win, and her personality(Whorish or not) shines through the awful editing and strategy and challenge overkill. I wanted Rudy to win Borneo so bad, and in retrospect, he's actually a really good UTR player. Richard didn't effect me one way or the other by the end, but I despised Kelly at the time. I rooted for fucking KEITH in the Outback. lol Twatwaffle was my number one African choice followed by Ethan, so it wasn't so bad. Do I win? |
