go with green walls, it's nice. i recently painted my bedroom in the spring, one wall a dark brown and the rest a very light green. unfortunatley i didnt do a patch test in different lighting, makes all the difference! after painting it looks mint green, not my fav. shade of green at ALL. and that's during the day, at night it looks eh, a little better. but i have pink vertical track lighting in my room and makes the brown and green look pretty fugly. like reddish. dont listen to people who say dark colors are hard to cover up, there ARE paints out there that will do it one coat, costs a little more, but maybe worth the time it costs you in labor. i love painting walls. my ideal job would be an interior house painter. (or exterior but i am very wobbly on ladders). good luck with your new place, and always remember, tip the super!
