Still waiting for Katy Carney to tell how picking and sticking to Cirie during Micronesia was foolish.

All I remember is that Parvati had a much stronger first episode than Cirie. And a much stronger merge episode.

John = visibility 2 | ||
guatemala fanfic wrote:Again, I would like to reemphasize this since I'm still seeing a lot of 1s for John. Is John's visibility really equivalent to the people who merely got a TCQ? I don't think so. He was shown in multiple scenes and should be a 2, despite what it says on Warrior's chart. |

I have to agree here with Katy. I thought Parvati's edit was super obvious -- she's been the only winner I've correctly predicted since the whole
time I've been here. Going from a weak UTR2 to two CP5's isn't a winner edit. People thought the same with Brendan last season and he didn't
win either. The same thing looks to be happening with Jaison too, although I guess his edit is going in a totally different direction.

I looked back and Liz said at the beginning of the episode, "Jaison, there's room here too" when she offered him a place to sleep. Wouldn't
that make her UTR and not invisible?

I'm going to go on a limb here and say I think both Ashley & Liz should get an UTR1 edit. Liz said one sentence at the beginning and was zoomed a
couple of times during the episode, whilst Ashley was praised by Jeff in the challenge and also paned a couple of times during the episode. Both got speaking
lines as well. If Laura & Brett can get an UTR1 just based on one sentence during tribal council, why can't Ashley & Liz get one as well?
My thoughts anyway.

Laura & Brett were completely irrelevant last night as well.

IvanV wrote: We know that at Tribal Council there is tons and tons of material to sift through, so being given a question is definitely manipulation and personal insight, which is why a TCQ (or a confessional) automatically saves players from INV in the early episodes. Screenshots, random soundbites off-screen and random praise from Jeff (unless it's significant and consistent during the challenge) are not enough to save one from INV. It's one of the "INV or UTR" rules. |

And I looked again and Ashley said "Thats fine, yep" and I think she yelled "We got tree mail!" And I remember Bob got no speaking parts on
episode 2, I think he was only mentioned during the challenge by Jeff. (Similar to Ashley).

Because she went from UTR2 to two CP5's, had a horrible first episode and was not edited as carefully as Parvati was. Cirie wasn't a horrible pick, she was just way worse than Parvati, and anyone who wasn't desperate to believe Cirie would win could've seen that.Considering the two winners that followed (Bob and JT), in retrospect it wasn't far off. But considering how so many hold Parvati as the greatest thing since sliced bread, that's like throwing stones knowing you have to come home to a glass house. And one could easily have said the same thing about Ozzy during Cook Islands. Was it foolish to have him high on the list of possible winners all the way until the end? If there's anything that is obvious, it's that there's no one way a winner can be edited BUT there are certain ways winners cannot be edited. Oh, and by the way, the INV rating has evolved in the past several seasons-particularly with the advent of larger casts. It used to simply mean that the person was absent from the entire episode. It was a rating that developed to distinguish those who were insignificant to those who just weren't even shown. If you are involved in someone's conversation whatsoever you are not INV. INV's should be reserved for those folks who are completely absent. Liz and Ashley were completely absent. They are both INV. Nobody on Galu was INV in the last episode. At worst, they were UTR1, but not INV. (not that it matters because 8 or 9 of them have been INV at least once already).
