What about Typhoon Ketsana hit in the Philippines and damaging the passport due to heavy rain?
The passport had could been swept away into the flood. |

I'd like to know what happened, too. Usually the cameracrew spot this happening -- the mother/son in Moscow, the stoopids in Transylvania. Was there any
footage of the passport falling out or being left behind?

I watched the elimination station video on cbs.com, and it was lost at the monkey roadblock. They had gone into a temple before arriving at the roadblock
(which was not shown), and Justin had pulled out his headlamp to find their way out of it. The passport was in the same pocket, and it fell out. When they
went to the embassy to get a new passport, someone had turned it in, and that's how they figured out what happened.

So true,
when they show people traveling in a cab they should show 5-seconds of it and get more of the show/tasks in the show. Way too much boring taxi footage. I don't understand how the racers leave the packs behind sometimes. When we travel we have the body wallet for the Passport and money/cards. Close to the chest, so it's safe/ I thought I did a lot of traveling in my life, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to Phil, Phil has been to so many remote places with the show. I always wondered who picks the locations and how they choose people who are at the roadblocks and give the next clues. They must get some whackjobs sometimes. And Phils passport gets filled in no-time. As he travels in 1st. class or private charter. |

I missed part of the show last night and so I'm not sure how Zev and Justin realized one of their passports was missing. Do they ask for the teams
passports and documentations after they arrive on the mat to make sure they have everything? If not, what if Zev and Justin didn't realize they had lost
the passport until after all the teams checked in and they were sitting down to dinner before the next leg started? What if they realized then, then went to
the embassy and got it back before the next leg even started?

A lesser reality show would stage a recreation of the Passports falling out and splice it into the edit. |

I think the reason we see so much taxi footage is because the racers forget alot of things (and thus the confessionals suck) when there is a long delay between
what is happening in the race at a given moment and the next pit stop. Thus the taxi confessionals are more "authentic" then the ones we get after
the racers KNOW they haven't been Phil-eminated. I would LOVE if each team had a "mandatory confessional" that had to be done during the race.
They'd be talking like an auctioneer on crank.
