Sometimes I get sucked into The Biggest Loser and I still DVR the Office but those are the only NBC shows that I watch. Our local affiliate is TERRIBLE so I prefer to go to CBS for the local news at 10.

I have too much to watch on Thursdays so I catch The Office online, on Fridays.

I barely pay attention and mostly fast forward Heroes.

Hey! I kinda like it here!

It really is sad to see the decline of this network. This used to be the only network I watched, from Today Show, through soaps, until Tom Brokaw and then on into its great prime time days. Now, I still stick with NBC news (love Brian Williams) and ff through the soap, but there isn't one prime time show I watch any more (at least until Chuck comes back).

They really have premiered shitty shows for the last several years. The few good shows that they had were dicked around so much with scheduling changes, that they didn't really stand a chance (still holding a huge grudge over FNL and I don't watch it on NBC, but only on DirecTV).

It seems like they are unwilling to take any chances on new concepts, but would rather bore the hell out of us with retreads. How many variations of the once interesting L&O could they possibly schedule? Daytime line-up lagging - add two really boring hours of the Today Show. And prime time line up pretty thin - bring back Leno. Ugh to all of it. Most people don't even bother to check and see what is on NBC any more. Sad.

Hard to feel anything for a network that had a reliable hit with MEDIUM and then let it go to CBS.

NBC needs to get their shit together, seriously. How they are running things is CLEARLY not working, and it's their fault. They need to change their philosophy and how they handle their programming in order to get us, the viewers, actually interested in the shows and would want to stick around. This can be solved in the following ways:

01. Don't make your existing shows suck ass. *coughHEROEScough*
02. Don't kill shows after low ratings in the first couple of weeks.
03. Don't kill off shows WHEN THEY HAVEN'T EVEN FUCKING AIRED YET AT WHICH YOU FUCKING APPROVED THE GODDAMN SCRIPTS! SOUTHLAND!!!
04. Advertise your shit, and do it well. Don't be so cheap.
05. Let your shows go when they've run their course. I always appreciate it when a show leaves on their own accord when they've told their story, not when it gets so weak that we have to pull the plug on them.
06. Pick up GOOD shows that people will WATCH for the new fall season. So many duds this season, it's not even funny.

Common sense really. But this network's so bad, I can honestly say I've only watched half an episode of Biggest Loser and the wedding episode of The Office. That's it. 30 Rock's coming soon, but I honestly can't make myself watch this shitty network.

They gutted their soaps too. They couldn't wait to get out of that lineup and for what, Kathie Lee, or the Doctors, or the entertaining trainwreck Starting Over that only lasted 2 years.

Brandon Tartikoff would be ashamed.

Isn't NBC doing decent during the day? Been awhile since I last saw the ratings, but last I recall, NBC was doing fine in the morning, afternoon, and with the news. Tonight Show is down of course and getting beaten by Letterman now but still doing decent in the demos with Conan.

But yeah, primetime is just laughable, and not just because of Leno. They just don't have huge shows anymore, and they don't even have many shows that the critics enjoy. It's in such horrible shape, and it's amazing how the network that's had some of the most successful and greatest sitcoms of the 90s and early 00s is now on par to become the next CW.

Biggest Loser isn't a 2 hour show. It's 60 minutes top if you edit out all the repeated scenes and crying about some such nonsense. I have to watch it on the Tivo or skip it because it's too slow moving to watch live. I'm still trying to watch Heroes, but it may not stay on my list if it doesn't improve quickly.

Thursday night is the only NBC night at our house and that's just 8-10pm.

Imagine the five shows that would have replaced Leno.

We'd probably have full seasons of Heroes, Trauma, and Mercy.

Looking at the NBC schedule, if you take out Leno, Law & Order and the Biggest Loser, NBC has 5 hours of original programs -- 3 hour long dramas and 2 hours of sitcoms on Thursday. How can you even call that a network?

They need to go entirely nuclear and roast 75% of the total schedule

-- Force Jay Leno to renegotiate so they can scrub that shit from existence
-- Focus on their strength which is and has always been -- comedy. Become the comedy leader and let the dramas be.
-- At least on 2 nights, go for quality over big ratings. They're already getting shitty ratings, so at least produce go TV. Rebrand as a cult comedy channel.
-- Cancel Heroes, Trauma and Mercy, then turn Friday into an all-Law and Order night
-- If they must keep Biggest Loser, put it with another reality show and then Dateline

Where would Heroes be now if NBC had had the balls to fire Tim Kring? Isn't he some friend of an NBC exec or something? There's so much chumminess over talent at NBC. Look at Zucker.

Uh, Heroes would be fucking HUGE right now if they had fired Tim Kring and replaced him with someone else before Season Three started.

They had a chance in Heroes to get their first big tent pole show to dig them out of their grave, but they didn't have the balls.

California Dreams!!! That show was better than almost anything in primetime now. I miss it.

Taylor Lautner. Thanks. It's odd that they pass Robert Pattison off as the hunk, not him. He's very handsome.
