Oh and the best WTF moment for me was the movie "out of bounds" the one guy dresses as a general, and then kills the hookers......

Or at least I think. It's been a while. But the twist in the middle of the film was definitely stupid and unnecessary. One of the worst, and most telegraphed twists for me was in The Village. Complete and utter agreeance |

Too bad this thread predictibly went from "movies with an unnecessary twist that made you wonder WTF did they put that in for" to "movies with a
twist - well, not really a twist, but I didn't get the point of the movie as a whole, so I'm calling it a 'twist' anyway, and WTF what with
that?".

9 Iron (See the ending. It's more convoluted than artistic, at least based on the one time I watched it.)

Think of how great Titanic would have been if Leo had died. Or maybe he did. I didn't bother watching.

"The Mist" is okay, despite shitty dialogue and shameless scenery chewing by the actors.

He wasn't funny goofy Will (he hasn't been that in a while). He was an angry, lonely drunk who mainly just wanted to be left alone. Or at least I think. It's been a while. Yeah, but I bet he was really cool at being moody and bitter, like in I, Robot, right? |

Oh, I just noticed people bringing up the Mist. Good movie, shit ending.
Yeah, I get it. It had a shitty ending because it wanted to be anti-Hollywood and show us that sometimes shit just happens, but for fuck's sakes! There's a difference between bad ending and giving a middle finger to the viewers. That was just unesscesary sarcasm. Either the director wanted to make us laugh at the irnoy or piss us off, I still don't know. |

I swear the only thing they left out in the ending of The Mist is Nelson appearing out of nowhere going "HA-AH!"
