I don't think Russell will fare well if he makes the finals...he's a bit...obvious....no subtlety whatsoever.

So far I can't even say FatRuss is evil, except in his confessionals. His theatrical stuff is actually kind of amusing. He's playing a decent game. He is in a majority alliance. He is performing well at challenges. Seems to be providing shellfish. He found the Hidden Idol like Gary (and now Erik), by using deduction & observation. He is arrogant and somewhat annoying, which might make him a good F2/3 partner... He's not done anything that's going to win him the game yet either.

Also if memory serves me correctly (which may not be the case) we had the benefit of seeing Brian for what he was much earlier as opposed to the contestants. FWIW we are getting drenched with the evil of Russell; his tribe doesn't know the half of it and when it comes to challenges and camp, he is an asset. The sabotage stuff may not gain him points though if it comes out since that may be viewed as unnecessary and just mean spirited despite how he may spin it if a good jury talker.

When they want someone to appear as a villain, they just show those confessionals. Whatever he is telling the cameras during confessionals is probably not what hes telling people to their faces.

Burning socks and emptying the canteens was almost cartoon-like (probably coaxed by the producers to do so in order to set up his evilness). Since then, there's not been anything evil about him. A little narcissistic yes, but not really any more evil than Rob (less actually) or Brian.

It's like when Ozzy was edited as so awesome in S13 pre-Mutiny - obvious foreshadowing So Russ must really wreack havoc on Galu. He won't be handed the game like JT. But bitter Galu jurors won't vote for him over NICE allies.. When villians like Brian won they didn.t hit us over the head with their OTTN in ep.1. Their evil was brought in later as doubt.

He only controlled one out of four eliminations, even though he thinks he controlled all of them. The only one he did control was so easy to get rid of, since it was the first week, and no one had any attachments to anyone then, and she was a young girl, and people always seem to want to get rid of a young girl first for some reason.

I don't like Russell at all. Some of it is because of how much his 'evilness' is being crammed down our throats. My biggest contempt for him though is the unnecessary and mean sabotage stuff. I totally agree that the jury will probably see it that way too if it comes out. It was pointless and could be viewed as just too cruel; especially pouring out the water. ~~~~ This episode completed my turn against Russ S in this game. He's just an idiot. I personally look forward to Galu getting Pagonged. Really looking forward to 'Club Med' being ordered closed and then getting foreclosed on! :p I may be in the minority but I really like Shambo.

Marisa said she didn't know about the canteens. Other than his braggy confessionals and arrogant 'tude FatRuss is essentially UTR.
