Just saw Survivor Samoa's Russell Hantz on CNN. He claims responsibility for the whole incident. Says he planted a Russell seed in Falcon, who then untied
the balloon.

He's likely hiding because he assumed his dad would get mad at him for messing with the balloon. From what I read about the father, he's a bit of a
hothead, so it would make sense for the kid to take off and hide. Little guys like that can hide really well.

police are saying the basket likely fell off...there wasn't a basket on the thing when it landed - that part of the balloon on the bottom that I assumed
