EPISODE 2
Previously on Survivor…..
Survivor: Belize began as 16 people were split into two tribes: Bomba and Otoxha. The strategy game began immediately, as Tom and Silas formed a quick bond on Otoxha, and brought in Richard and Kim as additional allies. Ramona and Kelly, the two late-comers on the tribe, were on the outs.
At Bomba, a four-way alliance between Rodger, Teresa, Michael, and Tina was created. Though Elisabeth was on the outside initially, Susan stepped forward to help her out and told her of the plan to get rid of Brandon first.
Before the first immunity challenge, the Survivors had the opportunity to take an immunity idol that would punish their tribe. Though no one on Otoxha gave in to the temptation, Tina took it for Bomba out of fear of missing the first challenge and being voted out because of it. Bomba had a disadvantage in the first challenge, giving Otoxha an easy path to victory.
As the vote was being discussed on Bomba, Michael and Teresa pushed for a Greg boot. Though Michael ended up voting for Greg, Teresa voted for Brandon, as did four other people, making him the first person voted out of Belize.
15 are left…..who will be voted out tonight?
---
BOMBA
The tribe had just gone through the first Tribal Council of the game. Some were confused as to what exactly went done, while others were happy they were still in the game.
Elisabeth (confessional): Not gunna lie, I was nervous going into the Tribal Council even though it sounded like nobody other than Tina would vote for me. I was on a helluvalot yesterday afternoon and was lucky enough to get a nice strategic conversation going with Susan. Thank god. She opened up to me and told me she wanted us to align and work together.
Meanwhile, Greg knew that Michael had targeted him earlier that evening. Michael had indeed voted for Greg at Tribal Council, though no one was too sure about it. Greg confronted Michael about this, in fact.
Greg (to Michael): Hey poop-face, why did you want to vote for me? You know I don't care. Vote for me again! I just want to know if I did anything to upset you, because that's the last thing I'd want to do. Michael (to Greg): Brandon had told me that he heard your name when I PM'd him. As you can see I didn't vote you and used your reasoning to plead your case and vote Brandon out. I'm fine with you and had no intention of voting you out.
Michael (confessional): So someone told Greg I was suggesting him for the vote tonight. When in actuality, Teresa was the one who mentioned it first. I think I did some damage control and explained to him that Brandon had mentioned his name and when people asked me whose name I had heard, I said Greg.
One player on Bomba was already thinking several moves ahead - Susan. She wasn't too happy about the split vote, and decided to rally the people who definitely voted for Brandon into a group.
Susan (to Greg): I guess people were gunning for you. If me, you, Lissybeth and Rodger can stick together, we might be fine. But these other idiots need to check themselves before they wreck themselves and I am telling you this because WE ARE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! Greg (to Susan): If Michael and Teresa were after me, they sure did suck at it. I trust you so much right now, Susan. I would love to have a four-way thing with you, Rodger and Elisabeth. We all obviously think alike. Maybe we could grab Tina to make it more stable? I'm sure we would as long as we forgive her for fudging the challenge up. And I'm ready to forgive if it means a solid thing. Plus I think Rodger's bible thing is adorable.
Susan (confessional): I just proposed to Greg, that me, him, Rodger and Lissybeth should stick together, and he came back saying we should forgive Tina and bring her in too! And of course I will! I was hoping we could get the backlash off my girl! Time to regroup and start shit up.
While Greg agreed to the alliance, he was a bit wary of who was taking control in the tribe.
Greg (confessional): I don't trust Susan. She seems a bit too jumpy about everything. It's almost like she's trying too hard. But hey, a promise is a promise. And if she betrays me, at least I can attack her integrity.
Elisabeth (to Susan): I told Michael I was hearing and voting for Brandon but I guess he decided not to trust what we were saying. Michael says he voted Brandon too but I don't believe him. Susan (to Elisabeth): I don't believe Mike voted Brandon either, I am pretty sure he voted Greg, mostly because he is telling me that is how it went. I don't believe him for a second, I think he is just saving his own ass.
Greg (to Rodger): Susan wants to grab the four people that actually voted as a team and have us stick together. You, me, Elizardbreath and Susan. I am so completely down with that idea, you have no idea. I want to have that plan's babies.
Greg (confessional): I said I was interested, and added that Tina would be a great choice for a fifth. And she would! She's going to be DREADING coming back to a tribe that basically blames her for the loss, and she's going to be desperate for retribution. Easy peasey, just come with us. I like her anyway. She has balls.
And the idol was exactly what Tina was explaining to Bomba in their tribe forum.
Tina: Hey tribe! I'm so sorry I had to take the idol, but I think I had a good reason. I couldn't make it and I thought for sure I would get voted out. All seven of you were there tonight so I probably would've been. I know you must all hate me right now but I had to do what I had to do to stay in the game, as I felt a little bit insecure about my position. I hope that's in the past, but if it isn't, I'll totally understand.
---
OTOXHA
Over on Otoxha, the players were still trying to figure each other out. They hadn't gone to Tribal Council yet, so there was no real way to know who to trust.
Gretchen (confessional): Some tough folks to read over here. There are some players for sure, and I think some are playing wayheyhey toooooo hard tooooo fast. And they are making it hella obvious. No prob. Gretch shall take each phase of this as it comes.
Jeff (to Gretchen): I should be heading out soon. It was also nice chatting a bit with Kelly who's pretty interested in what I do. Nice of her to show interest. Right now she's moving above Kim who hasn't really said much other than generalities the times I've seen her around. Is she like that with you too? Gretchen (to Jeff): You're right about Kim. Just some generalities and things about what she's "doing around camp," etc. etc.
Jeff (confessional): Brought up Kim to several people and all of them agreed she flitted around and barely said a word that meant anything. If we lose and we go vote tomorrow, I will not be surprised if the vote turns to her.
Tom and Silas, possibly the tightest pair on Otoxha, were discussing potential targets if their tribe had to go to Tribal Council soon. They both knew that Ramona and Kelly were the outsiders, but which one should leave first?
Silas (to Tom): Ramona definitely has some sort of connection to Kelly, which is why I'd even more so like to take Kelly out and force Ramona to work with us. We have so many different options, man. Tom (to Silas): It would only make sense that Ramona and Kelly have a connection considering they were the two outsiders kinda by the time the game was totally on. At this point, breaking those two apart now is potentially the smartest thing we could do while we're still on tribes.
Silas (confessional): Obviously Kelly hasn't been around which isn't in her control, but in my opinion she should be working even harder if that's the case. She has potential, do not get my wrong, but at this point she'll have a lot to overcome.
Tom (confessional): Otoxha is full of really interesting players, some being more aggressive with their games while others are lying low a little bit more, yet still giving off the crafty vibes. Had we voted last night if we lost, Kelly would've been gone and that's that. But with her around and Otoxha with an immunity win, things change.
Kelly (to Tom): I know a few people have admitted that my name had obviously been brought up early on because of the late show and then no show for the challenge. Guess if I were on the other end of it I might have agreed...lol...not gonna take it personally...especially when no one really knew me at all at that point.
Tom (to Kelly): Well yeah, it's something that can happen so damn easy, and that can be such a lazy way to play the game. You may not have been around right off the bat but I'm not interested in just writing you off because of it. So as far as I'm concerned Kelly bear I've got your back here in the Big O.
Tom (confessional): I knew right away that Kelly was going to be looking for some kind of friend, or friends, and I wanted to be the first person to really step up and do that. Sure, Ramona may have as she was also an outsider at the start, but nothing like Kelly. Lo and behold, I actually like her quite a lot. I think she has real potential. And I'm not really too interested to see her get voted out any time soon. Frankly, I think she has promise as a potential ally.
Kelly (confessional): Tom has definitely thrown me a bone today. Whether it's real or not I don't know but we've talked a little more seriously than I have with some others, and he seems to be in the first stages of interest for an alliance. I've made it clear to him that I'm alone and interested and he'll either bite or even use that against me....have to take a risk sooner or later.
---
BOMBA
Rodger and Tina were now clearly in the middle of the tribe. On one side was their original alliance with Michael and Teresa. On the other was a new alliance with Susan, Elisabeth, and Greg.
Tina (confessional): With those three hating Michael on one side...and with Teresa/Michael probably still targeting Greg, well, Rodger and I are stuck RIGHT in the middle of it all. It's absolutely hilarious, but also incredibly stressful. We're in a great position, but at some point, we WILL have to make up our minds on which side we actually wanna be on.
Rodger (to Tina): It seems like Mike and Teresa were fine with [you taking the idol] as well. I want to talk to you about that as well little lady. Are you feeling secure with those two? Tina (to Rodger): I'll be 100% honest with you. I feel much more secure with Teresa than with Michael. I haven't had time to chat it up with Michael too much, but Teresa and I did have some great talks. Is there anything I should know about either of them? I'm all ears, big guy, you know I trust you and want what's best for us!
Rodger (confessional): I have no problem flipping whenever need be. Jesus would expect me to play with my heart, and my heart is pulling me in different ways. Tell me what to do oh lord!
While important, potentially game-changing decisions were being made…..Greg and Elisabeth were just having fun.
Greg (to Elisabeth): Task Three is PM'ing Kate [the co-host] and telling her the following:
Elisabeth (to Greg): Okaaaaay, are you going to do the same? We both have to complete these tasks in order to get through the magical door, right? GREG: Well, you have to write mine because I don't have a husband and I don't live in Rhode Island (and you do, YOU DO!!!!). So you need to write what I need to send her, and then we have passed the mysterious third task!
Elisabeth (confessional): I find him to be a fucking hoot and it's fun trying to keep up with his shtick. He randomly asked me for a final two alliance which I obviously can't take seriously at this point in time, but how could I say no, right? I'm not sure if I trust him but I'd love to get to know him better.
---
OTOXHA
The second immunity challenge was quickly approaching, and the Otoxha tribe began to think about who the vote would be for in case they lost. Ramona, still being a bit of an outsider, did her best to talk to everyone.
Ramona (to Silas): We definitely need to work together. Silas (to Ramona): I'm all about us working together, after a few PMs I could tell you're my type of person. We just need to figure out... how we go about strategy. RAMONA: We don't wanna plan too much in case there is a twist, but it'd be nice to have one or two targets ready in case we happen to lose immunity. Tom is a good one - definitely seems very savvy about the game!
Tom (to Ramona): This is the shitty part of having a good, strong, active tribe right off the bat, us figuring out who to vote for is gonna be tough as hell. But I'm here for the tribe. What you and I and everyone else decides is best for this tribe to stay strong, then that's what I'm gonna go with. Ramona (to Tom): If we lose, I personally know Kim the least - just putting it out there! TOM: Is that the way I guess we're leaning tonight? Which won't matter since we're not losing, of course.
Ramona (confessional): Big Tom can fuck off and die in a fire. The guy thinks I'm oblivious to his tactics, but I see right through him every time. If he didn't make his shitty outside alliance with Kim so obvious, I perhaps wouldn't have noticed the fact that he allied with the most inactive person on our team, but psh, he's too dumb for that.
After doing their own separate investigations, Tom and Silas came together to try to come to a consensus for the vote. However, they felt very differently about what should happen.
Silas (to Tom): My gut instinct says we should vote for Kelly. Let's try and win tonight and not have to worry about it one way or the other. Kelly-Ramona-Jeff I think could be working together, but it's a risk whatever we do.
Tom (to Silas): I don't know dude, that worries the hell out of me to keep around Mona, since she's the one who started the Kim push in the first place and she'd be still around after the vote to get mad and try to regroup somehow. I'm not gonna fight to keep Kelly if ultimately we need to vote for Kelly, believe you me, but you're right, it's a risk no matter what. I feel like Mona is the better person to lose and could be potentially less damaging to us.
Silas (confessional): The fact that Tom is so gung ho on getting Ramona out is something that concerns me. I don't have a bond with Kelly, I do with Ramona. Us disagreeing this early on with such an important vote ahead of us makes me very uneasy, and also makes me question how smoothly I will be able to work with Tom in the future. Jeff and Ramona could be better allies for me....I don't know.
They came to no clear conclusion, only knowing that their opinions differed. Kim had been informed by her allies that Ramona was targeting her.
Kim (confessional): I'm so glad I made the alliance with Silas and Tom because they were the ones that told me Ramona was targeting me. It's funny because she's been really fake to me and I wonder if she knows that I know she's after me. She's still trying to act nice in PMs and stuff but I'm definitely on to her.
Tom kept wanting to push Ramona as the boot, so he talked to his other ally, Richard, about it.
Richard (to Tom): I'm thinking that Mona might be the way to go. Tom (to Richard): Silas is telling me he'd feel more comfortable voting for Kelly if we lost. Considering Mona's the one who's stirring stuff up that doesn't make me comfortable at all. Why keep around the person who is pushing for votes that don't work for you and vote out someone who isn't going out of their way to be a threat? Don't understand that.
Richard (confessional): We've got a veritable shitstorm brewing, and I'm not too sure where the safest shelter is. My alliance was Tom & Silas, with Kim just outside the core. Now the problem is that some people wanted to vote out Kim, and others wanted to vote out Kelly. In this, Tommy is being reeeeeeeeeeeeeally protective of Kim. Which leads me to believe that they've got something going. All this drama is going on without us even having lost!
---
As the confusion on Otoxha reached an all-time high, the second immunity challenge began. It was a Tic-Tac-Toe board, and the only way to get a space on the board was to correctly answer a trivia question based on Survivor trivia.
Otoxha came close several times, but Bomba would obtain a space to prevent them from winning. In the end, however, Otoxha came away with the victory for the second time in a row.
Gretchen: Good game, y'all! Michael: Nice job Otoxha. Ramona: Way to go, O! Tom: THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING BOUT! Teresa: Have a fun TC-less night.
Jeff P: Otoxha, once again, you are safe. Bomba, head on over to Tribal Council please.
---
BOMBA
Susan (confessional): We lost the Tic Tac Toe competition, that was ACTUALLY Tic Tac Toe where we were asked questions about who said what from our seasons of Survivor. Their team was massively faster then ours. I just think the other tribe is cocky and arrogant douches, and I HATE THEM!
Bomba went back to Tribal Council to vote the second person out of the game and out of their tribe. Discussions about the vote immediately started.
Elisabeth (to Rodger): Do people want to stick with Michael? Rodger (to Elisabeth): I suppose they do. Ask around little one. I'll do the same.
Michael (to Rodger): So any idea who we're voting? Rodger (to Michael): No clue. What are people saying? MICHAEL: Haven't heard a name yet, which concerns me.
Greg (to Elisabeth): So, I heard if you tell me who we're voting for, your herpes will finally be cured. Elisabeth (to Greg): *gasp* Well I've been hearing Michael, is that cool with you or do you have somebody else in mind? GREG: I am so down with Michael. Then we can finally be done with all of the crap. I told him all I've been hearing was him. I am a very bad liar, so I'm not even going to try.
Michael (to Greg): So who you voting? Greg (to Michael): It looks like you're next. Unless you want to switch things up? Let me know. MICHAEL: Why me and how can I switch things up? GREG: I have no idea why you. I just heard your name. Honestly, if you're going I have no reason to lie to you. What would you have in mind? MICHAEL: Who did you hear my name from? I'm not hearing anyone's name. GREG: You should vote for me if you don't know who to vote for. I feel really bad for letting this escalate. And if you're in danger, I would feel terrible about you going because of something I said. Honestly, deeply terrible. MICHAEL: So change the vote, who do you want to go? GREG: I'm in no position to make a huge move. You are. You don't have any other choice right now, as far as I see it.
The Bomba tribe then began to vote.
Elisabeth (for Michael): I don't feel good about this vote at all.
Susan (for Michael): GTFO YOU SHIT STIRRING BITCH! DIAF!
The rest of the tribe voted, and then Jeff P tallied the votes and revealed the results to Bomba.
MICHAEL
TERESA
MICHAEL
MICHAEL
MICHAEL
Jeff P: That's four votes Michael; that's enough. Susan: Burn baby, burn! Michael Inferno! Bye Mike, The Lord doesn't like liars.
Michael's torch was snuffed before he left the game forever. Bomba was now down to six against Otoxha's eight, but with the next challenge three days away, anything could happen.
---
Voting Results
Michael (6 votes): Teresa, Elisabeth, Greg, Rodger, Susan, Tina Teresa (1 vote): Michael
Michael's Final Words
I'm still not sure why Tina turned on me, we were getting along fine. She even sent me a PM asking if I was pissed that she took the idol. I told her I fully understood why she did and if I was in here shoes I would have done the same thing. I even told Greg and Susan that I thought it was a smart move. Tina asked if the alliance (me, Rodger, Teresa and her) was still intact and I told her it was. As far as I know it was. Obviously someone convinced Tina that she wasn't safe and got her to flip. If only she had believed me then the alliance would be sitting pretty for a while.
Next time on Survivor…..
- Chaos erupts in one tribe as the power shifts and multiple players change alliances, leading to an all-out war - Two Survivors make it their goal to mislead one player in an attempt to blindside them - A blow out at Tribal Council leads to an unpredictable move by the person voted out which affects all of the players in the game |

K here's my attempt at edgic, hopefully won't be too biased >_< feel free to disagree with me or correct me. EPISODE 1: Bomba: Brandon: MORN3 - Overall Brandon doesn't get a whole ton of airtime, and while he is annoying to his entire tribe he isn't over the top about his schtick I wouldn't say. You don't get a good feel for any sort of depth of his character, just that he talks with a lisp, appears to be a weak social player and people kind of scape-goat him as there's no clear consensus on who should go in the group. Elisabeth: UTRP2 - Elisabeth shows up late and obviously is on the hot seat due to this fact. She discusses how it's going to be a struggle for her to overcome that but quickly she is seen as a likable person on her team and manages to survive despite Tina's idol grabbing. Greg: CPM3 - Greg's first line in the episode is "if that homo lisps the ENTIRE game..." <3 Obviously Greg is somewhat of a cynic, sarcastic yet lovable ass... I wasn;t sure to put him negative or mixed. He has a good amount of visibility and is seen discussing strategy as well as having a personality. Michael: OTTN4 - Michael appears to be the loud-mouth, obnoxious idiot who everyone is kind of put off by because of his aggressive style. He seems to have an erradic thought process and maybe a bit paranoid? Rodger: MOR2 - I didn't get a huge sense of tone for Rodger this episode, and he was relevent when it came to strategy talk but only was given a brief amount of "air-time". It is apparent he is a smart strategist but not totally developed yet. Sue: CPM3 - Sue is hilarious! She has very strong opinions and isn't afraid to voice them. I think Elisabeth is who we're supposed to be rooting for this episode and Sue lends her a helping hand and does her best to keep Lis safe. She is also seen making very volatile comments about Michael and Brandon and leading her tribe in the crusade to eliminate Brandon. Teresa: MOR3 - Like Rodger, she is seen being apart of strategy talk, but her impact seems a bit limited. She is seen in conversation but I don't believe has a confessional this episode. Tina: UTR2 - Tina is only shown briefly discussing the idol with Michael and has a confessional about why she felt she needed to take the idol. She is absent for a lot of strategizing that goes down. We get a sense she is a scrambler and bold, but with little air time it is hard to develop a real tone for her yet. I'll do Otoxha later... |
