Considering the whole black swan thing, I did think that the future black dude was actually going to die and that would be the black swan event. So they got me on that one.

The more I watch this show the more I feel like this is a great idea that's being killed by bad writing and and mediocre acting. I pretty much hate or am
indifferent to all of the characters.

Has this been discussed yet, regarding finding out the reason for the blackout?

I'm dismayed and disappointed in the actress who played Penny on Lost. In just one season she went from a mysterious hottie with a sexy accent and some
subtlety in her acting, to an over-botoxed dullard with a terrible accent that only serves to mask her poor delivery and lack of emotion. Shame.

so Dom's character drowned the babysitter... and she felt like she deserved it? Hmmmm....
I knew Mr. Simcoe was in on it! I guess Agent Mark will have to start drinking soon to help himself come out of the dark ;) |

Flash Forward is a multicultural nightmare. With blacks everywhere at the top of the FBI, a white himbo and asian FBI field agents, and aryan-blonde model
terrorists. If this show were any more of a liberal fantasy, the entire district of Hollywood would wake up with wet sheets.
I mean, seriously, you can weave liberal themes into the show as much as you want to (like a normal artist). You don't have to take the lazy, lowest road of simply plugging-in minorities into all the powerful, good positions and white people into all the lower-rung negative roles. This show would have been so much better if it had realism. Nothing is real on this show- the characters, the interactions. This has got to be the least credible presentation of the FBI or terrorists in human history. On a separate note, I still find this show to be incredibly predictable. The asian dude, Noh, is still the bad guy. The method of the flash forward will be found out to be quasi-scientific with a little mysticism thrown in to season it. Three seasons, three flash-forwards. And the people who pulled the cosmic event will be made to look like dastardly villains for the entire season until we find out they have very positive, very noble reasons for their actions at the conclusion of season one. So... I don't see where the mysteries are in this show. |

I don't get how people can think the asian FBI agent is the bad guy. I don't see that at all.

That's why it's the season's main "twist."

Joseph Fiennes was called the "Shakespeare of cheesey dad humor" this episode. An inside joke. His big role was the bard himself in the movie
Shakespeare in Love.

Crap. They didn't air the rerun tonight. Now I'm gonna be grumpy all weekend.
eta: Can't record. No DVR. No TiVo. Dialup internet. I might as well be in 1970.

Fluffynurse wrote: Hey, I do have DSL, but no dvr, vcr or TiVo so I can't record either. Shoot, Fluff, you can't even watch online can you? I looked forward to the rerun because I like watching it twice. Watching on the ABC website has been a nightmare for me. I absolutely can not do anything else while watching ABC online because it consumes all my resources. Not a problem with any other network but ABC is freaky. |

That episode didn't really work for me. 50 minutes of red herrings and 10 minutes of actual plot advancement.
I am glad they finally remembered the blonde terrorist lady, since I was wondering wtf happened to her. |
