I thought the shelter scene was really cool, too. It was an interesting change. I thought Liz was going to go, but I guess it makes sense since Ashley was the
obvious choice and there was no time to talk about it.

There's no way someone like Russel didn't whisper Ashley's name into someone's ear at some point, or he heard it from someone. They had to
leave the shelter to pack and get to Tribal Council anyway.
Still, I liked the scene but was hoping for more of a split vote. |

Loved the scene. They probably discussed the Ash vote when she was gone for a confesh. Nice editing illusion though.

You know Uncle Camerman had to be sweating bullets when they all huddled up instead of backstabbing.
Wonderful creativity on behalf of the edirting corps. These ffuks set the standard, and keep raising the bar. |

There was NO WAY that this was a "blind vote".
The timing of Ashley's final pre-TC confessional (with no rain) was VERY questionable. And the voiceover confessionals were obviously recorded after the TC and inserted. It reminded me of the BB confessionals which describe the ongoing challenge that were recorded after the fact. "I chose the margarita party in an effort to ....." |

Oowatanite wrote:That;s what I was thinking. If they would have made them go into the rain and do confessionals then it wouldn't have been that big a deal to go off in the rain to talk game. So I doubt that happened. I'm thinking they pulled them aside right before or after TC to give confessionals. Was a cool scene though... and depressing...that tribe is just sad. |

It would have been more awesome if Ashley had stayed. Who do we have to root for now?

This was a good scene. Best part of the episode.

As a note, they do pull people to do confessionals in the rain. But it's another thing to go off with someone else to talk strategy, because (a) you don't have to, and (b) it's REALLY obvious to everyone else and gives them a chance to talk about you. |

TheWizard wrote:Yeah I guess you're right. When production says we need a confessional, I guess you gotta go and give one. I guess its possible they did it in the rain. Who knows. Hmmm. Well I agree it was a great scene...it showed how down and out they really are. They are a sad...sad tribe. |

Russell looked a little strung out in that scene, like he needed his scramble fix. What the hell was he doing standing over everyone with those wild eyes?
Doesn't he know this a game and to put on his poker face?

Yeah, I loved it too.
When they showed the tribe walking towards the tribal council area with the helicopter shot, I expected someone to whisper in someone's ear. |

Reminded me of Sook Jai before Erin's boot. Great episode and great moment here.

That was a great scene. Hope that happens more often. It at least allows us to get to know what everyone is thinking.

They were completely dry at TC. There was time for them to get together and vote 5-1.
CBS owned. |

Agreed guys. 19 seasons of survivor, cool to see something totally refreshing like this. It would have been interesting if the vote was more random as a
result, but good stuff nonetheless.
