If Liz goes that will be bad, we, well maybe just me, is justing to know her (her edit in the recent ep)...further more, shes very smart to find out russell
has the HII, but very dumb to confront him

If that's true about Liz leaving, that's a real bummer because she's a far superior player than Jaison both mentally and emotionally. She's
more cagey and doesn't whine about the conditions like other players have been shown doing...and just the way she held out in that challenge with the
coconuts when she was left alone to pull out a win for Foa Foa.
I know you had said before that it was Jaison who left and really, with the edit, it seems that way - I dunno about this one. I get the feeling that Liz makes the merge. I read where the women didn't get along with Liz, but how many women are left on that tribe?? Just Natalie. |

I thought Liz was making the merge and Jaison went before? Can you tell us why it changed? (Not skeptical, but just wondering)
SU did in fact outright state Russell makes the finals, jsyk. |

I think it was pretty obvious from that interview from Liz, Liz outing Russell, everyone's mistrust with Liz, Liz being one of only 2 girls left and the
other girl being Russells main alliance. Liz was doomed anyway.

There's still the fact that the early boots seemed to have praised Jaison (bonding at loser's lodge), and hate on Liz.

Missyae, how sure are you that it was originally supposed to be a combined RC/IC rather than just an RC with both tribes going to tribal council? Just seems odd to me that there would be no planned double boots in a 20 person season. |

I am never sure of anything until I see it on Thursday nights. I was not out there working or playing so I am only going on what someone else who was out there
is saying. I was asking what was the reward going to be in the challenge that was stopped due to Russell Swan going down. I was told - it was a big challenge -
one of those for both immunity and reward. I have not been told they did another immunity challenge right afterwards to make me think they will show 2
challenges this week. The more and more this gets closer to Thursday I am starting to think we will see the tribal with both tribes and nobody going home. I
think they are going to make this episode just like I was told - tear jerker. They were worried about the players not having fire - they were worried about the
players physical and mental conditions - they wanted to let them all know about Russell Swan. I originally thought they would not even show this tribal but the
more I hear about it - the more I think it might be the only tribal we see this week. As far as what changed in my mind about Liz or Jasion making the merge -
I was told I misinterpreted information and it was always Jasion making the merge and never Liz. So I guess I get the blame for that. Anyway it goes - this
week should be very interesting. I have no idea how they will fit everything in if they do not have a boot this week in addition to Russell Swan leaving. I
just know I was told to go back and look at how many people started out on the finale when Earl won.

No kidding. That is what I find incredibly perplexing. I mean for crying out loud Betsy said good things about Ben in her interviews....and Ben said positive things about Yasmin and how they made up in his interview. If those two conflicts were able to be resolved....you would think people would have a better attitude towards Liz. I wonder if they put Liz in a corner during Loser Lodge or something.LibrasAbandonedChild1 wrote: |

Perhaps Erik gets idoled by Russell? |

missy already mentioned that Russell does play his idol, but it's insignificant. So Foa Foa takes advantage of the game by other means...but at first they
were shocked when Erik got the boot.

Overall this could be right, but as TDT mentioned way above somethings may not fit and are bound to be wrong. Liz is supposed to be going next, then Erik. Assuming those happen and Shannon switches. It's still a 6-5 adv for Loyal Galu. The simplest explanation is Russell H uses his HII at some meaningful point. |

So Missy said on Survivor Blows (quoted by TheEasyOne in this thread):
------------------- Something I can tell you about the promo of Russell telling Liz she was on thin ice is that when the people involved in that promo saw it - they could not even remember what it was about. So I guess it really is nothing major. Russell's hidden idol will be played. However, the way I was told is that it really did not need to be played but 'why have one and not use it?' I think the egos of the jury will have a lot to do with how they vote. If they hold a grudge, I think it will be hard for Russell to win. If they appreciate strategic moves, he would have a good shot. Keep in mind, I have been told his strategy about this is sorta like Mike Tyson - if I knock you out, I am champ because I beat you. Last thing - Ashley The real reason behind the scenes of what has her in peril is how big a fan she is of the game and a friend to some of it's previous players. Someone
out there found out about her extensive knowledge of the game and thought it was better for her to go home. I highly doubt you will see that edited into the
show because it might raise eyebrows to the viewers who have no idea at some of the connections of present players to past players. So her downfall is her own
fault.
Something else everyone is being misled about is the new editing of Natalie. Probst mentions how smart she's playing and the editing last night was trying to lead us into that line of thinking, do not buy it. Her gameplay consists of trusting someone else to get her to the end. Of course nobody is supposed to know who won but the players do call and mail each other so there is a really good idea of who won. As far as another 'spoiler' saying Russell H. did not receive any votes, someone is telling lies. Either that 'spoiler' is telling a lie, or people on the jury are telling a lie because some of them have stated who they voted for. http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID2/7268.shtml

Rambler470 wrote:Or, some members of Galu decide to flush out the idol early and target Erik at the merge, thinking that even though they lose him, they still have the advantage in numbers. The editing seems to point to John who may orchestrate this (that shot of him in the hammock, seeing Erik in the tree looking for the idol/John "ruining" Erik's one-on-one with Shambo to get the idol clues). Plus, I always thought that there must have been a reason the editing focused heavily on John in the first episode, setting him up as a little bit of an outsider in some way on his tribe (although that seems to have disappeared - much like any attention to Galu, at all.) It's speculation, for sure, but I think John may assume that Erik has the idol and teams up with Shambo, Foa Foa, and maybe one or two others to get rid of Erik and the idol. Then, Russell H. plays the idol in the next TC, another Galu goes home and this results in the eventual Timbira-ing of Galu. |

Yeah, the Natalie is latching herself on to one person and jury people have stated there votes basically give away that you are using a bitter Russell as a
source. Yawn.

so who else flips? im guessing russell somehow persuades some of galu to form an alliance... if erik is the pre-merge boot, maybe john or dave?
