Although I was seriously disappointed in your final tribal council performance, I was glad you made it so far. I know you think really highly of Coach, which I suppose I will never understand. Why? I mean, I thought you had the idiot's number. One of my favorite clips of you was during a confessional where you compared him to Don Quixote. Maybe this answers my question (you thought he was a harmless, bumbling, delusional fool), but it seems to me that many of you should have been more angry at him for destroying your chances at winning. My main question is, why did everyone placate Coach rather than call him on his bullshit? You all essentially allowed that asshat to dictate the norms out there to the extent that his ideology shaped the way people would vote during final tribal. As such, there was no way you could win with your kind of strategy. A side question--- did anyone ever notice Coach came into conflict with almost every woman with whom he had any significant contact during the game (excluding Debbie)? I guess that wouldn't be bothersome for you guys out there (no harm, no foul), but still. Did you at least notice?

Brendan in one of his testimonials said that Coach was predictable, and that was exactly right. Having a predictable player out there who would -tell- you what he was going to do...that's gold. Coach didn't cost me the win. He partially helped me and JT get to the end. Being someone's friend doesn't mean I'm benighted as to their weaknesses. It just means I enjoy their company and don't care one way or the other about their flaws. Also, why would anybody call anybody on their bullshit? Why would I want to create conflict around camp? If people are riled up, they're going to do erratic things. If you keep things placid, people will act predictably. Why do I care if someone's stories are outlandish, or someone else is boring, or someone else is irritating? I'm not getting married to them, I'm trying to beat them in a game for a million dollars. ETA And yes we noticed that Coach didn't get along well with the girls. That's why it was great having him at 5 with Erinn and Taj. Bc they would NEVER team up with him and he'd NEVER team up with them. Edited Again to Add: And thanks a lot for the appreciation! I am in awe of how you`re able to have a conversation going over several pages without ever actually responding to what the other person says, and STILL get them to keep replying to you in search of acceptance (which obviously never happens). It`s an interesting skill, especially when you get the other persons to feel like they just got pwned yet do not even really know why. (You and I know that you feel good about me stating this and that I appreciate your skills...you`re welcome.)
