Great episode last night. I doubt the kid is Brock's (unless that was Cocktease in the car), because that's just too easy. Dr. Girlfriend (sorry, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch) calling off the murderous moppets is interesting in terms of what her role in all this is. Dr. Venture making a clone kid to replace the one that was disemboweled was genius. Billy Quiz Boy could be the father -- and Dean standing up for Triana was a great touch.

Loved it again this week. I love their (basically) one location/one day eps like the garage sale ep from S1.
Soooo it looks like the boys have a half-brother. I thought they were going towards Brock having a kid. Nice twist. Nice seeing Johnny back again. I like the Rusty Venture cartoon show and hope we get more of that. Dr. Mrs. The Monarch (love the name change) 's new costume is awesome.

There's a theory running around the boards that the kid is a Hank who never died -- the original, non-clone Hank if you will. Note he says
"that's my REAL father" -- is Brock Hank's real father?

Dr. Qymm was good but not stellar. I liked the mystery of the Wereodile
and that it turned out to be pretty much the most stereotypical Scooby Doo ending
which of course was counter-intutive as everyone else was made ot be a suspect. Nancy & Drtew were hilarious additions. Hank & Dean paranoid that each
other were the wereodiles was priceless.
I wonder if Dr. Venture Sr. affair with Qymm's mother will mean anythng down the line. |

This reminded me to check when the next season is airing, and it looks like it won't be until November.
This show certainly has some large gaps between seasons, but then it's also got the best animation of any show on Adult Swim, and that's including the stuff they get from Fox. Then factor in the writing and the fact that they have some of the best continuity of any show, and I guess it makes some sense that they'd put so much effort into the episodes that it takes awhile to produce them. At least the payoff is worth it. |

Yeah it's not a big team working on it. It's just the two guys who write the show, plus they do a lot of the post production stuff themselves too. I
remember they said the season would have more eps but would be broken up into two halves. Something like a 10 ep block, several months off and then 6 or 8 more
eps.
