Big Brother Winner Uses Prize Money To Fund Drug Business

Richard Hatch, the winner of the first season of Survivor, is smiling right now. Not because he's finally out of jail for tax evasion, but because he's no longer the biggest reality show winner douchebag. The Big Brother CBS threw together for their 2008 WGA Strike barren winter schedule has given us a new champion in Adam Jasinski.

Sure, Hatch didn't pay his taxes on the cool million he won. But at least he didn't take those winnings to try and become a drug lord. Big Brother 9 winner Adam Jasinski has been arrested for major drug trafficking, according to Access Hollywood. He was found with 2,000 oxycodone pills in his possession and admitted that he'd been funding his would-be drug empire with the $500,000 he won from the CBS reality show.

So was the screening process a little lax on this one, because of the haste in which season nine was thrown together, or is this kind of thing pretty hard to nail down.

Interviewer: "So, um, Mr. Jasinski. Tell me, if you were to win the half a million dollars, would you consider funneling that money into illegal drug distribution."

Jasinski: "Oh, oh. Interesting question. I'm thinking I probably would."

Jasinski faces 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines if convicted, so let's hope that he at least doubled his money somewhere in all that drug trafficking. Otherwise, he might need to go on another reality show to score some serious scratch.

Hey, it could have been worse. At least he didn't murder anyone ...

Adam Jasinski Arrested, Used Big Brother Winnings for Drug Enterprise!

Big Brother Season 9 winner Adam Jasinski is making headlines this morning as the 31-year-old reality star was arrested and charged in North Reading, MA for possession of 2,000 oxycodone pills and the intent to sell.

While it's difficult to predict what any of the winners are going to do with the $500,000 cash prize from the BB show, no one suspected the money would be used to create a drug enterprise. Unfortunately, that's exactly what Adam Jasinski did with the money - he even admitted it himself.

Jasinski told officials that he was funding his illegal drug enterprise with the $500K he won from the show.

Maximum sentence for this offense is 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. We're not sure he's bright enough to do the math, but that's double what he won on the show!

We watched Season 9 and Adam always seemed like a money-hungry douche bag but we didn't think he was stupid enough to blow the $500,000 trying to create his own drug enterprise. Idiot.
