Why do people think this? The Producers wanted Brian to the be the next Dr. Will (thats why they loaded the contestants up with BB2 and BB7 DVDs) but when he went out first, they chose the less-charismatic Dan and just fed him Diary Room lines. Memphis did just as much as Dan, but was a hell of a lot more sly. Dan played a better social game and in the end, that is what got him the half million. CBS just wanted to shove Dan down our throats, you can see that clearly in Renny's eviction interview where Renny was praising Memphis as the best player and Julie kept hinting that Dan was a bigger game player. I don't even like either of them, infact out of the two Memphis was a boring asshole and Dan was boring yet more entertaining than Memphis. But it's ridiculous to say that Dan did all the work, when Memphis was actually probably the better game player out of the two.
