On the surface it's maddening, but if you get out a calendar and try to do it the right way, you don't really make the postseason any shorter because you still have to allow a couple of days between rounds. The only thing you could do is set the next round to begin whenever the last round is complete, and you can't really do that from a logistic perspective. It's beyond me how horrible the umps have been this postseason Short memory? This is at least the fourth postseason in a row influenced by bad umpiring. With some calls now going against the largest market, instant replay's full expansion may be on the horizon. |
