Frankly, I didn't even realize who she was at first. She's hardly a headliner outside of the MTV R&B set. Her Grammy was for a collaborative effort on Lady Marmalade, where she was clearly overshadowed by Christina, Pink and even Lil' Kim. Her SAG award for Moulin Rouge was an ensemble award. Her only lead roles in film are an indie film that grossed less than $70K in the US and a it's so bad it's going direct to DVD movie. That's not to say her accomplishment are second-rate. They're not. But, it's easy to see how she would not have been on too many radars before DWTS. She certainly is not a household name.
