You can tell your teenage daughter she is beautiful, strong, smart, all that everyday for 15 years. When she looks at a stick figure dressed like a hooch, and realizes that's not her, it goes down the drain. Teenage girls see themselves compared to what is on tv as the norm every single day. It does not mean they lack anything in their life. I did not look like Madonna growing up, and I thought she was the perfect person.

DMB, I agree that teenage girls do not enter into sexual relationships for the big O. I agree 100% they do it to keep the boyfriend they have, they get curious, or even sad to say to get a boyfriend. But if they are going to lay there and engage in it, what is wrong with them knowing how to pleasure themselves? That was my whole point in going to her, I wanted her to know it's not just about the boy.

As for not knowing how to do it, I really could not until I was 26. I had long since given up even trying. There are still women out there that have never had the big O, I did not want her having the frustration I had, nor think it was bad as I did. Some of you may think it's the easiest thing on earth to do alone, I can only speak for myself in the fact it used to make me mad.

My daughter has not worn a skirt of any type since she was 11, she currently has a 3.0 gpa, was in bed last night at 8pm, home on the weekends at 10:00pm. I still must speak to the parents of friends she spends the night with, etc etc. She's a good girl. I'll stand by me believing she's entitled to know how to please herself or demand equal treatment in bedroom satisfaction any day.
