Hell Kate was always undermining Jon's authority when it came to discipline telling the kids to ignore him that he was a meany, she's always been a charmer in her ability to stab her family with her words. Now with TLC going after Jon and building Kate up as some sort of organization queen and a brilliant organic cook., looks as if TLC is bound and determined to allow Kate to have a platform from which to toss Jon and the kids under the bus. It boggles my mind how TLC wants to continue to assist in the destruction of this family. |

celebrity survivor or TAR?
Jon Gosselin is headed back to reality -- reality television, that is. A source for RadarOnline.com claims that Gosselin is planning to meet with CBS at the end of next month to discuss appearing on celebrity editions of 'The Amazing Race' or 'Survivor.' The source adds that the idea is currently in the "very early stages" and that "nothing is a done deal yet." Seriously? Anyone with an ounce of intelligence should know that this is the last thing Jon Gosselin should be doing. For one thing, reality TV has already done enough damage to his image -- not to mention his family. Yes, it made Jon Gosselin a household name. But it also made him the subject of one too many tabloid stories, including this one. If Jon really wants to save his image that badly, reality TV is not the answer. Just ask Dina Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Denise Richards or, well, Jon Gosselin. Further, booking another reality show will only make him look like a hypocrite. If Kate and their children have to stay off-camera (recently, Jon filed a cease-and-desist order, which halted production on the 'Jon & Kate' spin-off 'Kate Plus 8'), then what entitles Jon to remain in the spotlight? Of course, there are ways to turn this bad idea into a good one (admit it: you'd totally watch 'The Amazing Race' if Jon and Kate were on it together, traveling the globe to save their marriage). But just as we asked TLC to cancel 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' we think it's time for someone to pull the plug on Jon Gosselin's reality career. So if you're listening, Jon, take a page from Sarah Palin and Whitney Houston. Lay low for awhile, and then, if you're really compelled to, tell all of your problems to Oprah. We'll thank you for it later. |

It would also completely screw his image even more, but he needs money to be "just Jon" and maintain his new lifestyle, and since he killed the cash cow, desperate fame whoring was bound to be his next step. |

Nah, not celebrity survivor....now celebrity big brother maybe. I'd pity the other HGs. Egads.
I've stopped watching J&K+8, but if TLC is showing reruns, wouldn't the 10 of them be paid for each airing? Probably not as much as a first showing, but surely they'd get some payment. |

I am not sure reality "stars" get residuals in their contracts. The SAG members do, but I haven't heard of any reality shows paying rerun
royalties. If they were smart, they would negotiate those in from the beginning.

Jon is pretty athletic and likes hiking and camping. He would probably do pretty well on Survivor. If he lasted he would definitely lose weight. The thing
is he wouldnt struggle enough and wouldnt be fun to watch per se. Now Kate on Survivor would be another story. Can you imagine her freaking out over the dirt
and bugs? LOL Then trying to bereating her tribe into doing chores and not being sensitive to her situation? I bet she would be voted out before the 1st
tribal council.

People: Jon Gosselin is now in "complete compliance" with a court order that he return $180,000 he took from a joint bank account with his wife, says his attorney, Mark Heller - but, according to Heller, Kate Gosselin is not. 
People "Unless something happens today [with Kate] she will be going through contempt proceedings Monday," lawyer Mark Heller told PEOPLE on Friday. Mark Momjian, Kate's divorce attorney, could not be reached for comment. Kate had been ordered to account for the approximately $55,000 she had withdrawn for household expenses. Both sides filed contempt motions against each other for allegedly violating a divorce arbitrator's guidelines for how the money from a joint account should be spent. On Oct. 13, a Montgomery County, Penn., judge ordered both sides to return any money that wasn't used appropriately. Jon was ordered to return $180,000, but Heller would not confirm whether that's how much he returned, saying instead, "I can tell you that we've done what we needed to do to extricate Jon from any issues concerning contempt." Heller went on to say that attorney Charlie Meyer, who had removed himself from the proceedings in September, is once again representing Jon in the divorce. Heller was not licensed to represent Jon in the state of Pennsylvania, and a petition for him to be granted permission to do so was recently withdrawn by the attorney who had sponsored it. I would laugh if Kate spent the money and is found to be in contempt. An order preventing her from leaving the State would be hilarious. No book tour, or View
hostings.
You just know the nut is spending way more than Jon on luxuries. Other than a residence in NY what has Jon been spending money on? |

I think I'll wait for information from sources other than Jon's sleazy attorney as to whether Jon has returned the $180K (even his own attorney
wouldn't confirm this was the amount) and whether Kate has complied.
Honestly, whether you like Kate or not, you have to admit she's pretty savvy about this whole process and I find it hard to believe she would pilfer the account; I'll bet she's able to come up with receipts for household expenses totalling that amount. We'll see on Monday I guess. |
