I guess it was kinda boring like the last 2 episodes. Foa Foa should have gotten the pizza and they should have went ahead with the vote. And I was thinking
that with both tribes together there was going to be a merge. It had potential, but outside of the Russell thing it was just a bunch of "we are miserable
in the rain" clips.

What was up with the winning tribe going to TC???

It would have been a whole lot scarier if we didn't already hear how scary it was going to be. Stupid CBS promotions.

I enjoyed the editing of the episode. Every scene in the beginning tied in to the outcome of Russell leaving and it set up the players for us for the upcoming
near future. Seeing the dynamics now and forcing the players to not go through TC will no doubt put a strain on some folks, which should make the next episode
interesting.
I'm probably in the minority but I'm actually really enjoying this season. Foa Foa <3 |

It was still pretty scary though...with his dead eyes just staring ahead.

Might've been my favourite episode of the season so far.

Foa Foa fucked again.
When they won the immunity challenge. No one got to go to Galu. Now they were ahead in a reward that would have given them energy, Russell H goes down...they don't get their just desserts. And Foa Foa had to vote out somebody after the old guy got put down. Complete bullshit. |

It was a truly horrifying moment when Russell passed out the second time. When I saw his blank open eyes, my heart stopped for a second because I thought he
was dead. Then I realized that if he had truly died, they wouldn't be showing the video on TV.
That was pretty bad. |

I really liked that episode. It seemed like there was a lot of emotion and they edited it really well. I just wish they did vote people out, because we
probably would've gotten rid of two boring people in Liz and Monica. Now there are almost no hopes of a Final 2.

I can't imagine what it was like for the people in the blindfolds--the challenge is called off but you're just standing there and don't really know
what's going on. Not sure what would be scarier, that or looking at Russell's motionless eyes.
Mike's was definitely scarier for viewers--honestly, even before I watched it the second time when the DVD set came out, I never forgot that "Auuggghhh!" sound Mike makes (offscreen before we find out what happened). But I'll give them credit; this was definitely the most emotional evacuation since Mike. Bruce's was almost comical, with Shane taking off his pants and Bruce telling Courtney "Please stop" when she started singing to him; not to mention they intercut the sound of him moaning with Cirie/Aras/Danielle getting massages. Gary was just bitching "I can't function" and he chose to pull himself out, not the medical team anyway. Jonathan was just a blubbering mess. James didn't really seem to give a shit. Joe and Mike just kind of shrugged it off. "Get off the table, Russell!" = the new "He's burnt. He's burnt pretty bad" |

At least they all got to go to tribal council hut where it was dry and warm for a little bit -- then they all got their asses sent back out into the rain. I think I'd have been begging Jeff to allow us to have a sleepover at tribal just to have one dry night. I don't recall any other season being this wet. Australia was close, but I don't recall it being this bad. |
