If you're going to try and disguise yourself from the paps, why would you wear one of your douchy seen-before hats over the wig AND drive your own SUV?

I read over on People Magazine's site that Kate had submitted her receipts and Jon's funds had not yet been wired into the account again. Interesting.
Different stories in different places on the net.

Now, wait....he DID buy that ATV for Cara and a laptop for Mady for their birthday. And that pair of earrings for each that one time. So there's those
expenses.

I'm not saying KATE is necessarily the savvy one making all the decisions, but she's savvy enough to listen to people who tell her what to do if she isn't sure herself. That's still media savvy in my opinion. |

Give it up - she's not savvy. She's handled
Have you never seen the show? Do you honestly see a "savvy" woman on the screen??? She's a screeching bitch - and just because she's got a tazer held at her back, as a reminder to stay on script, any time there are cameras and reporters around...does not mean she has, in any way, an awareness of how to behave in public |

azcanadienne wrote:Of course she's handled. Listening to her handlers is a media-savvy move. Look at Jon if you don't agree. He doesn't listen to his handlers. Of course I've seen the show; we're not talking about her behavior on the show, we're talking about her behavior in public during all this crap that's been going on for months. Of course she's a screeching bitch, but on the SHOW. I am saying that she has done the better job in the media OFF the show than Jon has, and whether that's because she listens to her handlers or whatever, is shows some realization that she needs to behave a certain way in order to not crash and burn as badly as Jon has done since the separation. whether you like her or not, you have to agree that she has done the better job with her public image since the separation. Many of us who were on Team Jon to begin with jumped ship based on his behavior. He could've had us all eating out of his hand but he refused to listen to anyone and does not seem to comprehend that he is shooting himself in the foot every time he does something on his own. |

I agree with Keetos. Kate is a raging bitch, but at least she has not been on the fast train to hell that Jon has been on since the split! He has made bad
decisions, is hanging out with ex cons/drug addicts (THESE PEOPLE HAVE RECORDS-HAILY AND LOHAN-are these people YOU would want around your 8 kids??)
C'mon!!

I disagree
Between her handlers and the media, Kate's behavior has been more camouflaged than Jon's has (hell, snippets from the Vanity Fair article, reported by other agencies, picked up on the "poor, poor Kate" parts, but blatantly ignored the "she's a bitch!" parts....which were about 95% of the article) - but that's not anything she's done Do not mistake "spin" for attributes she simply does not possess The media is incredibly manipulative and makes deliberate choices about who and what they report. And it rarely has anything to do with being truthful, objective or fair. For the moment, they've decided the more profitable story is about Jon. It is then left up to us to be savvy enough to decide whether to buy into their manipulative spin 100%...or not I choose not! |

Yeah, that damn media making Jon fuck the babysitter while his kids are hopefully asleep. Then they made the poor guy hang out in Vegas with all the teeny-tiny
bikini clad women, puffin' on his smokes. Oh! And they way they made that poor guy have to lie and take things back OVER AND OVER AGAIN, while proclaiming
his innocence!
Please. Paps are following Kate too, they haven't caught her sneaking out of various men's apartments at dawn, or out partying constantly, or hanging out with sleaze-ball druggies. He's a fool. (That doesn't mean that Kate isn't a bitch, or isn't listening to savvy people--but DUH, Jon could have done that too--oh right, he was too busy being "just Jon.") |

azcanadienne wrote: Crazy trumps bitch any day of the week, and Jon lost his shit. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that watched the show before all of this blew up was on Jon's side. I think TLC was probably responsible for it, by and large, because of the editing. Anyone that watched the show prior to their move could tell you that she made his life miserable, emasculating him and lecturing him on how to discipline his children. The Gymboree episode comes to mind when he put Collin in time out and she lost it because she doesn't approve of time outs in Gymboree. The point is, Jon is responsible for his current situation: Talking about how he despises Kate Becoming besties with Michael Lohan Trying to get on Amazing Race Parading his girlfriend, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who gave Kate her tummy tuck, all over the country Trying to stop production for the sake of his kids and then running to any media outlet he can find to give 'his' story, which only creates MORE attention The list goes on and on of flat out BAD choices that Jon has made. Kate, on the other hand, has been a bitch to a lot of people. Shcking news! I don't blame him for leaving Kate. I can buy that the marriage was over before he took up with Hailey. I wanted to be on his side, I really did, but to blame the fucking media for any sort of spin is ridiculous.

I get that Jon is a complete moron. He has done himself no favors. But Kate is such a big problem. Somewhere along the TLC ride she decided she was part of the
show's production team. She put TLC first before her own family---she bought into all the stuff they probably told her, like "your hair looks good, go
blonder."
where is aunt jodi? where are all the other people? Kate wants to be the victim and she is the reason for half of this strife. She probably never loved Jon, or grew up in a house where her mother bullied her father, and when she saw fame, she decided it was for her. I just saw the episode where they go to disney world and one of the kids gets a spill on her shirt and Kate loses it. 1) it seems like it's jon's fault. 2) she says she doesn't have another shirt. (Why not just do what a normal mother would do. Use some water, clean it up and deal with it later. The kid isn't going to be blacklisted if she has ice cream on her shirt---she's 3.) On that note: has anyone every made a comment about Kate's need to dress all the kids the same? Does she find it easier. Or more eye-catching? |

And if it's not spin - why didn't the press report the less Kate-friendly pieces of the VF article? There was certainly LOTS of it. Instead they
gave note to the one or two sentences that didn't make it abundantly clear what a self-centered, ego-bloated, obliviously moronic hag Kate is

And how many shows did Kate go on bitching and moaning about Jon before he went on one at all? The wedding ring crap that she's said and the things that
she's said that's made it obvious that she's pushing this drama on her kids isn't something that will help those kids..
I do think that Jon is going through some sort of mid-life crisis and he's looked like a fool, but I think his actions have probably been less harmful to his kids than Kate's. (him partying or dating lots of girls doesn't effect those kids unless he does it on their time) |

Nasty divorces do make friends out of the most unlikely of enemies. Saturday, Jon Gosselin invited his estranged wife Kate's
estranged brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Jodi Kreider, to his home!
With Jon on parenting duty at the Gosselin's PA home and Kate in Los Angeles for a public appearance Monday night, Jon met the Krieiders with warm hugs when they arrived at the house. Kate Is Doing A Book-Signing In L.A. Tomorrow In a series of exclusive blockbuster interviews earlier this year, the Kreiders blasted Jon and Kate for their "sham" marriage which they said was all for the show. This was months before the Gosselins announced they were divorcing, a decision that ultimately led to the demise of their TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Kate's Brother Says Her Marriage To Jon Is Over In one particularly heated exchange involving Jon and his in-laws, after Jodi commented that the kids were "overworked" and shouldn't be forced to do their show, Jon shot back that the Kreiders didn't know what they were talking about. "They don't even know where we live," Jon told RadarOnline.com while insisting his kids loved working on the show. VIDEO: Jon Gosselin Slams His In-Laws Kate later told Meredith Viera on Today that her brother going public about her marriage had been one of the saddest parts of the entire ordeal. VIDEO: Kate Gosselin Breaks Down On Today Show We can only imagine what Kate is thinking about the new alliance between Jon and Kevin. Could Jon be somehow hoping to use them against Kate in their
financial battle?
