ETA: It's disappointing Jennifer wins because this is one of the strongest top 6's collectively (even though they are midgets) with virtually no weaklings (Sundai isn't even that bad for supposedly being the worst,compared to what we've had before). It's sucks that Jen wins and it's so fucking obvious she does especially when Tyra praises her for a fucking mediocre job week after week. But that doesn't take away from the fact that she's had some pretty atrocious pictures. I mean really. Nicole has had almost all stunning pictures and did second best on the commercial, and did really well on the go sees. Unless she crashes and burns from here on out, if someone other than she wins, it's just Tyra filling quotas and not a real competition. Like we really thought it was anyway. But sometimes it's nice to pretend.

She still has a legitimate shot but I find her to be a distant third to Laura & Nicole based on how the show is portraying them. We are supposed to like Nicole & Laura (for good reason), and they both had the "omg I might go home b/c of this" episodes recently. That is usually the closest the F2 girls get to going home, especially the winner. Jennifer's had a positive edit, but when she does well or poorly she is still not the focal point of the show, we're just not supposed to sympathize with her TOO much or at least not as much as Laura/Nicole. Remember last year when they were hellbent on making the audience think Beavis was some wondrous ray of sunshine? . For Jennifer to win at this point they would really have to stop playing up Laura/Nicole so much. We do all agree that Brittany/Sundai/Erin have no chance in hell right? Watch them be the final 3 And is next week a recrap?

ANTM is about Tyrant's theme of the season, not about finding the one with most model potential. That said, I could 100% see Tyrant using the midget cycle to crown the first Asian winner, which is really disappointing, but totally Tyra. So, I do really think Jennifer is the frontrunner to win. I picked Jennifer (along with Nicole) as my pre-season/1st episode faves. My reasons for picking Jennifer as a fave were that she did pretty good in the first episode and she is a local gal I could root for. Unfortunately, she has delivered disappointing photo after photo. But as we've seen in past seasons, just because she takes shitty photos doesn't mean she can't be named a winner (Whitney/Saleisha/Teyona). Based on actual potential, my final 2 would be a Nicole v. Erin showdown with Nicole winning. Who I expect Tyrannosaurus to choose as final 2: Jennifer v. Sundai with Jennifer winning.

That was a DISASTER last time, and it will be a disaster this time, too. It's also completely unrealistic for any real-life modeling; a client will hire a model of the ethnicity he/she wants - he/she won't hire a model of one ethnicity and then try to change it!

Posts: 12 (10/25/09 1:13 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I think the elimination order will be: 6th-Erin 5th-Laura 4th-Sundai 3rd- Jennifer 2nd- Nicole 1st- Brittany I think we haven't seen much of Erin except the last episode in which she was in the bottom 2 and I think she will just fall apart and be in the bottom 2 again and go home. Laura I don't think will do well in the go see and maybe get eliminated at 5 because of that 4th place usually goes to someone who skated by and isn't as great as the others so that is Sundai 3rd I think Jennifer is getting the improvement edit in which people may think she has a chance now to win then she will get cut at third for shock value Nicole will get second because she will get the weird girl edit and they need a reason like that for why she won't win Brittany will probably win because she is getting the edit as being good but had one episdoe in which they showed her not doing great but just to get the audience off the track no who will win. Its not necessarily what I want to happen but I think will happen

Spoiler [+] Actually some of them worked. Particularly Keenyah as a Korean. It's not so much a real life thing (as if 90% of these photoshoots are), so much as to show their versatility and ability to be a chameleon. I'm very interested in seeing what they try to make Jennifer.

I mean, if a white person puts on a black face it's racist, so wouldn't anyone coloring their skin, putting on a stereotypical racial/ethnic costume and changing any other physical characteristic to resemble another race be considered racist as well? Just saying.

Maybe I'm just strange and don't notice it. She isn't a typical perky high pitched voice squealing teenage girl...she's deadpan in her delivery. I find her more real than many of the types of girls on this show normally.
