Posts: 2849 (10/24/09 8:58 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Lot of good that'll do when you can't be home by the time these alerts will get sent to you because of when the game is actually played. >_> I don't even watch TAR anymore whenever I come home and find that despite recording 60 minutes of extra footage I STILL missed 10+ minutes of TAR. I'm not boosting their ratings by watching what parts of the episode I have when they piss me off with ridiculous sports delays.

Same as Canada and other Asia-Pacific nations like Philippines.

They're thinking of people who can program their DVRs via cell phones. I always record the entire 3-hour prime time block on Sundays, thinking I'm clear, no matter how late the game runs. Now, watch. This week, the President will schedule a news conference, and they'll postpone the start of the game, and then have multiple overtimes...

The good news is that CBS is admitting that the Sunday night viewers are getting screwed from foorball overtimes. I hope the next step is to move TAR to a different night, but face it, its the only show with dedicated viewers who will watch it whenever its on. I guess last week's way-too-ridiculous time delay drove them to it (didn't the episode of Cold Case that was supposed to air just get pushed to tonight instead? lawl). Still . . . here's to hoping they eventually decide to just ending football games at 8:00 so that this won't even be a problem in the first place. No? Okay, well then at the very least they can just delay Andy Rooney again like they did last week.
