Probably like RadarOnline is trying to do: That he's going to try to "use" them against Kate in Court.
Personally, I wouldn't blame him if he did; but I don't think that's why he's trying to reconnect. I believe he's trying to turn some things around for the kids. |

The thing about Kate forgot who supported her when she couldnt manage the kids. You often saw Jodi and Kevin taking on the kids when Kate needed a break, even
though Jodi had 4 kids of their own. She was always very loving with the kids even when the kids were not behaving. Jodi being deservedly compensated by TLC
caused a rift between Kate and the family. Jon was always close to Kevin and Jodi. I can understand why he wants to reconnect. Kevin and Jodi were the ones
Jon confided in when Kate told him she was done with the mariage. I hope Jon is also able to reconcile with Beth Carson.

Kate used Jodi and Kevin for free baby-sitting. once she got a few bucks and decided Jodi shouldn't see a dime of TLC's money they were kicked to the
curb. Pretty crappy if you ask me, the kids seemed to love Jodi and she was very good to them from what I could see. I thought Kate was disgusting for cutting
them out like that. I'm glad (even tho I'm sure Jon has ulterior motives) that the kids get to re connect with her.

I'm sure Jon is doing this to gain favor with the kids, it's his only card to play. Kate gets the free trips for the show while he has to do normal
things with the kids like fish because TLC won't give the "bad guy" good press with the kids.
But I think moreso this was about reconnecting the kids to family they seemed to really love. Jon is always trying to make the kids happy and I'm sure they were delighted to see their aunt and uncle after not seeing them for a long time. I'm just more shocked that Kate didn't barge onto the lawn screaming that they were not approved visitors for his time. Maybe she learned to not break the law! |

Kate is going to shit.
And even though I thought the way Jodi and her sister handled the whole thing was deplorable, it's good for the kids to be in contact with their extended family. I hope Jon brings her parents over for a visit. |

Well played, Jon! That's the first good move he's made in months.
I have to agree with those who think Kate is the more media-savvy, even if just to the extent that she realizes she needs to do what she's told. The flaw in the argument that the press picks the villain and it makes no difference what the parties involved actually do, is that initially the press was probably about 80/20 in favor of Jon. Their tune changed due to how skeevy he was acting. |
