as for Burnett, he has pitched very well at home so I don't expect him to get bombed.
Cholly should go with Hamels/Happ in gms 2 & 3 - big mistake. I was in attendance when Happ pitched a gem at yankee stadium.

Agreed, but the way they have been rolling a CC loss would cause panic in the fandom. The Yankees themselves wouldn't probably sweat it at all.
I'm assuming Pedro gets pummeled in game 2, but the Phillies would be thrilled to get a split and go home. I think ARod will be fine, he's swinging the bat great.... but if Texiera doesn't start doing something soon, that will be a big hole in the middle of that lineup. |

the burnett games (2 and 5) are the ones Im most worried about since he is such a wild card and the yankees will have an easy out in their lineup due to burnetts inability to deal with posada. |

I'm with ya on Tex but he hit .357 w/ 4 rbi in his last 3 games so he should be fine.
Burnett is no lock to pitch gm 5 cause of the short rest. Girardi might pitch Gaudin in one of those games in Philly. Yankees will win one at cbp. Phillies are facing a real october team.....not the starting pitching deprived Dodgers or happy-to-be-there Rays. |

in order to get into the phil's heads, Jeter spent the last two days sleeping with all their wives/girlfriends/mothers....except for the Survivor chick
married to Hamels...her body wasn't quite in fighting shape since she had that kid...
