I actually think the term you're looking for is airbrushed... photoshop indicates a change in shape or features.. that's Adam's face... he's just been glittery alienified sigh.. I got my wish...

I think he is turning off a huge potential group of future fans who don't yet know his music all that well with this cover. His die hard fans will love anything he does, but others, the people he needs to buy his music to make him a star and fill stadiums are going to give it a huge what the hell is that?? and never look back. Its a shame. I hate how he looks too. He looks like a chick and even though he is Adam Lambert he isn't exactly feminine in behavior so Im just sitting here like what the fuck ? Sorry ya'll, I know you love him. Just trying to be impartial here and I seriously think he's fucked himself good. Go look at the AOL poll, people hate it.

I think he is turning off a huge potential group of future fans who don't yet know his music all that well with this cover. Won't those potential fans learn about him through radio play? Do you think people might hear a song and love it but when they go to buy the album be like "OMG nevermind I hate that cover" I love it but I've bought albums that I absolutely HATED the cover for (Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway comes to mind).... I'm gonna make a bold prediction right now... This album is gonna sell shit loads of copies.... the cover art is going to draw people's attention and lead to more sales... and those people who hate Adam will jump on the love train within a year.... just like they did with Carrie Underwood when she started selling shit loads of albums... this board is nothing if not predictable and y'all love backing a winner.... They were on a break. Rachel even said it herself. I don't hate the whole album cover but the work on the typefaces is shit, it looks so cheap and tacky and doesn't blend well with the really good photo.

I mean how long ago did Kris' single come out? it's weird. britney, gaga, rihanna, and timbaland, all much more established and proved stars, already have their singles out and i think they're dropping albums around the same time. a song takes time to build. i guess they're depending heavily on the idol fanbase for the first couple of weeks.
