When they killed off Georgie, I stopped watching completely other then the 3 or 4 minutes I would catch here and there while flipping channels. I kept up with plot lines with Soap Digest and also Serial Drama and their epic commentary but I just can't watch the show. Oh and hey! I couldn't GIVE A SHIT if Jonathan Jackson is coming back. He was great as a tween/teen and probably the perfect casting for Luke and Laura's child at that time, but he lost his edge when he went on to movies and I never cared to follow his career. It won't bring me back to GH. James Franco I adore.. but he's coming on briefly to research a movie role and it's stunt casting at it's best. I'll pass on that too. Vanessa (whiny Brenda) Marcil returns for a bit to feed off of James Franco's fame and find another job? Nope. Don't care. One Life To Live and Young and the Restless are the only good soaps on now. They treasure their vets, they write for the characters and give them real soapy trauma and joy without all the misogynist bullshit and mob crap AND they respect the history of their show. As a soap viewer since 1979.. that's what counts with me. Respect the viewer, respect the veteran actors, respect the history of the show and respect the format of the soap. Soaps are dying.

This = complete and total truth. The only reason I am still even remotely interested is because of Tony Geary. When he decides to take that final vacation I am dunzo with GH. I can't even say that it is a shell of its former self it is so far off of what made it a once great soap. Where is Bobbie and Monica and Edward and Tracy and Laura and Felicia and all of the vets that I give a damn about? Return GH to the core families and I will be tuning in daily. Now I just want to blow up the whole damn mob scene because it has so thoroughly trashed GH. ETA: And what they did with Stuart Damon is criminal. Liz and Nikolas will feel lots of guilt after they betray Lucky, but neither of them is strong enough to stay away. Luke plays an important role after he finds out what's been going on between Liz and Nikolas. Claudia disappears suddenly, which has a ripple effect on the canvas. Johnny channels a bit of his Zacchara side, which has major consequences for his romance with Olivia. Dante does everything he can to bring down Sonny, but he may never get the opportunity when everyone learns his true identity! Carly and Jax have a long road ahead of them in repairing their damaged marriage. Michael shows more signs of following in his daddy's footsteps, which worries both Sonny and Jason. A madman witnesses everything that happens on the fateful night Claudia takes Carly hostage. Kristina continues in her abusive relationship with Kiefer, while hiding the truth about his terrible behavior from her family and friends. Sonny and Alexis will play a major role in this story once the truth comes out. Dante and Lulu grow much closer after they experience a life-and-death situation together. Lulu is torn by her feelings for him and her loyalty to Sonny. Robin and Patrick remain happy and committed to each other. However, when Patrick's college girlfriend moves to Port Charles, insecurities about their relationship will bubble to the forefront. And...James Franco!

Sam finds a duffel bag that contains bearer bonds and substantial cash. They end up having to help the current occupant of the house, a pregnant woman who passed out or fell. Helping the mom-to-be has Sam recalling the loss of her unborn child in the 9th month of her pregnancy. Jason comforts Sam. Olivia winds up in Johnny's arms after being summoned by Anthony for a disturbing visit. Olivia nearly tells Sonny the truth about his son and his blackmailing, hitman-hiring wife but Sonny interrupts her to insist that she stop badmouthing Claudia. Michael also defends his stepmom, after which Olivia then decides she should keep her mouth shut. Olivia tells Johnny that they should reunite--but it must be kept secret. Claudia delights in her trip with Sonny to resolve problems with the biz. Sonny and Claudia as the dynamic duo? After Claudia risks her life to save Sonny while in Rio, he decides that he's going to throw a party in her honor when they return home. Alexis approaches Jason and implores him to keep Sam out of the investigation. She fears Jason will kill Claudia and when he ends up in prison for it so will Sam by association. Jason and Sam discover a series of disks, with all of Ian's recordings, including one on which Claudia is heard spelling out her plan to have Sonny killed at the warehouse. After putting together a few more facts about other events that have unfolded in recent months, Sam and Jason come to the conclusion that Claudia is pure evil and must be stopped. Nik is taunted by Helena regarding his feelings for Liz. Kristina confides in Michael. Greg Vaughan airs for the last time as Lucky. Week of October 26th 10/26 Johnny gets a heads up when Michael informs him that he knows Claudia was behind his shooting. Patrick has a tough choice to make. 10/27 Dante tells Lulu the truth. Carly has a very negative reaction to Jax's secrets, Sonny gets in the middle of it. Alexis and Sam will join forces again when Kristina gets in over he head. Alexis relives her past and in a way so does Kristina, but her story will end quite differently than her mother's. A choice is taken out of Kristina's hands. Michael will be Kristina's rock. Jason pours out his heart and feelings for Sam after a motorcycle ride. Alexis recognizes that Helena's fear of Valentin is genuine. Lulu is suspicious of Mischa. Mischa converses with a mystery man. Liz changes her mind at the last minute about breaking her engagement to Lucky. Someone overhears her explaining why, to a disappointed Nikolas. Carly overhears the truth about Jax's knowledge of Jerry and Claudia.

I LOVE JJ!! It takes me right back to the begining of Lucky and Liz....and there's a spark between then again, and I kinda want to see them back together. The only thing I worry about is if he will look too young to be Ethan and Lulu's big brother..... crossing fingers for some gearly Luck and Liz flashbacks as she falls back in love with him....

The only thing that concerns me is what they are going to do with him. To me, JJ's Lucky would not have done a lot of the things that the replacement Luckys have done. Does that make sense? I realize they are supposed to be the same character, but... And I don't think the Luke/Lucky dynamics of today would be like this if JJ never left. shrug

JMO. I wasnt watching GH when JJ was on the show - so for me - Lucky and Liz seemed odd. I kept thinking he was too young to be kissing/sleeping with the Liz chick. Up above - a viewer that remembers JJ's Lucky/Liz combination, remembers it and feels the magic again. I am not a fan of Nikolas and Liz but I always felt like she didnt fit with Lucky either... so maybe I will like this JJ Lucky/Liz better (if I can get passed the part where I think he looks too young to be with Liz). How's it gonna be around Sam?

I guess he did spend most of his young acting career learning from him. He does seem a little young now...and whoever mentioned Sam was right on the money. How weird is it to picture her with this Lucky! lol Am I remembering correctly that one of the reasons he left the show in the first place was that he wouldn't do love/kissing/sex scenes??? And OMG to Luke seeing Liz with Nik at the end! I think they're okay together. Nik has had no spark with anyone for a while...except Claudia. I thought they should have pursued that instead of the everybody wanting to be with Sonny scenario.

Spoiler [+] Marsha Thomason has been cast as the mystery woman who will be playing opposite film star James Franco when he begins appearing in late November. You may recognize Thomason from her role in Las Vegas alongside Vanessa Marcil or more recently as Naomi on Lost. Natalia Livingston will be parting ways with General Hospital once again as will her character, Rebecca. No word yet on her last airdate. Scott Reeves is joining the cast of General Hospital. Scott will play Liz's (half) older brother, Steven Lars Webber. He arrives in December as the new chief of staff of General Hospital. Reeves is best known for his 10 year stint as Ryan McNeil on The Young and the Restless, and as a country music artist. According to T.V. Guide, he will be thrown into a storyline involving Liz, Lucky, and Nikolas. The role is said to be recurring. Scott explains that, "... I kinda courted [GH]. It was the one show I most wanted to be on. Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and I are best friends - we're literally like brothers - and I just love the people over there. My agent put out feelers...They had a role. The timing was perfect..." "I was checking out my [character's] genealogy on GH and found out that my character's father was played by Richard Dean Anderson. So I'm suddenly a big hero to my son. I think he looks fine with Liz---she has always looked young to me, I cannot imagine JJ's Lucky with Sam... Overall, I don't think it's working. Mostly because as of yet there seems to be no story. I would have introduced the new old Lucky when Luke was captured by the Cassadines---I would have gone as far as to have the "old" Lucky be a plant (some anmesia guy) and the "real" Lucky rescue Luke. It would have been more compelling. Right now, it's a yawnfest regarding the love for Liz.

I am SO thrilled! I've been waiting years for the powers that be at GH to realize that JJ is the only Lucky. Greg Vaughn was incapable of doing anything except scowling at the camera. I don't care how many years he was on the show - he was never Lucky. Now we have the real one back...hopefully the writers will ditch this stupid Elizabeth/Nicholas/Lucky triangle and put Elizabeth and Lucky back together. But then I remember....these are the same people who have kept Luke and Laura apart for more years then they were together....yet I still hope. (I adore Luke and Tracy together, but there's only one soap opera supercouple, and that's Luke and Laura) JJ is an outstanding actor in his own right - sure he learned a lot from Tony Geary....but he's also one of the few people who can go toe-to-toe with TG and hold his own. Any doubters should troll on Youtube for the old scenes where Luke told Lucky about how he raped Laura. Some of the most powerful tv ever, soap or no soap.

I only got a couple of glimpses of the show during those years, and his face really looks like the same kid...only I thought he was blonde? Spoiler [+] Week of November 2nd 11/2 Spinelli, Lulu and Dante work together to find Carly. On her own, Carly finds a cabin and readies to bring her child into the world herself. Alexis decides to help Sonny (her motive is to keep him away from Kristina). 11/3 Claudia makes a unexpected move. Lulu nearly drowns in freezing water on the Zacchara grounds. Michael prepares to leave, but discovers signs of a car wreck. Jax worries about Michael, who has gone missing. 11/4 Claudia quickly develops an obsession with Carly's baby girl. A rescue team is on its way to Lulu, thanks to Johnny. Dante lets Lulu in on a secret. 11/5 Sarah Joy Brown (Claudia) last airs. Jax pleads with Carly to come clean with the police about the events that transpired in the cabin. 11/6 Nikolas and Liz give in to their feelings. Jax and Sonny face-off. Carly cannot forgive. Olivia worries that Dante is trying to get to Sonny by using Johnny. After Liz tells Nikolas they can never be together, they make love Baby Girl Jacks comes into this world with Claudia's assistance! Jason, Sam and Michael go into protect mode when they come upon Carly with Claudia in the cabin. Sarah Joy Brown (Claudia) last airs. Jason second guesses his choices. Carly blames Jax for the outcome of events. Someone is obsessed with Jason. Coming to after the accident, Carly reaches the cabin, believing Claudia is no longer a concern. Suddenly the door flies open and a flash of lightening reveals a wet and bloody Claudia. Ironically, Carly's baby has become stuck in the birth canal and Claudia must help the baby be born. Unfortunately, Claudia wants to take Carly's daughter, and demands that Carly hand her over. Michael suddenly appears, stick in hand, killing Claudia. This time it is not about his rage, it is about survival. Drew Garrett shares in SID that, "It was instinctual to swing whatever he had in his hands". Jason and Sam become the clean up crew upon arrival. Sam brings Carly to the hospital. Jason fills Sonny in on what happened. Marice Benard explains that Sonny has,"a lot of guilt. I put Claudia in his life. I should have stepped in way before, but I didn't." While Max and Milo bury Claudia's body, Sonny tries to counsel Michael. "You can't kill someone and feel nothing" Maxie ends up catching a glimpse of a potential evidence that is accidentally left behind. While Johnny fears for the worst for his sister, and Dante notices blood on Sonny's shirt. Jax and Carly have a loving reunion but disagreements soon set in about whether to tell the police about Michael's involvement. NEXT... At first it will seem that Michael will suffer no after affects as a result of the traumatic experience but later he experiences a mini melt-down. Johnny confides to Olivia that his imagination about Claudia's plight %%+$$ him apart. Evidence against Sonny mounts, and Jax's change of heart surprises Carly. Franco adds to his collection. Week of November 9th 11/9 Liz is plagued with guilt. Michael's behavior concerns Jason. Carly cannot forgive Jax. Lady Jane arrives. 11/10 Anthony promises to seek vengeance upon Sonny. Nikolas is confronted by Luke concerning his affair with Liz. Dante gives Sonny the heads up that trouble is coming. 11/11 We meet Sonny's housekeeper,. Graciella 11/12 After Oliva pleads with Lulu to keep what she knows a secret, Lulu finds herself facing a serious dilemma 11/13 Dante is caught between a rock and a hard place. Romantic Lucky is a heartbreaker. A sparkler leads to sex. Kiefer slaps Kristina. Liz argues with Nikolas about Rebecca. Carly allows Jax to sleep in the guesthouse. Coming... Holiday Q-mania episode on 11/25! Diane gets her Thanksgiving wish. James Franco plays the role of...Franco. Michael's behavior concerns Jason. Sam becomes the focus of someone's attention. Expect Valentin to show up not long after Thanksgiving. Kristina seeks comfort from Kiefer. Lulu wonders if she should warn Carly about Dante's mission. Alexis sticks up for Jax with Carly. Not all of Jax's secrets are revealed at once. Sam disappears.
