I could be wrong, but I always thought that the idea was to vote out JT from the Final 5 on, but he just kept winning immunity so it never happened.

It's the current editing of this show that makes it predictable. Ever since Cook Islands (with the exception of Gabon and to a lesser extent Micronesia) it
was obvious who the winner was by the end of the 3rd episode.

Whose the obvious choice this season? It seems pretty unpredictable but people are still probably gonna whine about predictability

Well the editing this season has been a little different but I am speaking more on the grounds that people who are generally always giving insight to the game
go far. And they typically only show game ending alliances where in the past we saw all game alliances.

It wasn't that they were editing the winner the same way, it was that the winner was the exact same person over and over again. Edgic completely fawns over that type of person, witness how ridiculously wrong they were with Marcus, who was again that exact same kind of character, and how Mick is their leading person this season, who is yet another dull male leader type. Its the exact same person over and over and over again. And thats not even taking into account their obvious influence from spoilers (proved once and for all in China when they picked Amanda, as their typical pick, which would have been Aaron, being gone pre-merge) and the fact that people like Ozzy and Jonathan got a lot more support than they'd have you believe after the season was over. Edgic hit a home run once since I've been here, Micronesia. 1 out of 8 seasons just ain't that good. :P If anything it points towards the show's unpredictability with the winner, we'd have had Stephenie, Amanda, Marcus and Stephen winning if it was predictable. :) It's the current editing of this show that makes it predictable. Yeah, thats why edgic was so spot on the last few seasons. Wasn't it great when Marcus and Stephen won? |

I actually kind of agree with ThaiSu but not totally.
I mean, when you watch Survivor, you also play with your mind of what's going to happen next and when you watch the episodes and what's on your mind happens, then it's definitely predictable. But heck, I'm sure it will be predictable if you read hints, spoilers and other stuffs before watching the show or an episode. |

My guess is Mick or Liz since Russell's a troll, Jaison will get worn down by the elements (and is a challenge threat) and Nat is invisible like the Galuvians. I thought JT/Stephen seemed pretty obvious by the merge episode. You could tell that Brendan was next and Coach would have alienated both Sierra and Erinn, meaning the Jalapao three had their ticket to the F4, and neither would be stupid enough to take Taj. The only surprise was Erinn making the F3. |
