Over at the nazi website, they are reporting the show is a ratings disaster. I think last week's episode was the lowest rated of the season? Is anyone else
surprised? I thought with this cast it would bring in the ratings. You know what this means, old schoolers will never be asked back and Fresh Meat assholes and
new school loosers will dominate future challenges. I am quitting watching this shit at the right time.

Not coincidentally, the ratings have slid from episode-to-episode.
This parallels that the audience does NOT want to sit through more seasons of the same people. People are SICK of Evan's & Kenny's "witty" commentary on every darn thing, and of the women generally sucking and being run over by the guys. |

I'm surprised ratings are down since this one has been better than the last few. But it could have something to do with the fact that they run these shows
every other hour so people don't feel like they have to watch it when it originally airs. But idk how that stuff works so maybe not.

I dont see this past episode being the lowest in ratings at all, it was probably the best episode this season/best episode in a very long time. I dont think we
have had a good challenge season since Gauntlet 2, some would argue Gauntlet 3. The thing thats holding ratings back, imho is the new characters, they just
arent as likeable/hateable as past characters have been on the show. And all the interesting people dont want to do challenges anymore. Im just really sick of
the johnny/kenny/evan/derrick/paula/johanna gang, its just not fun to see them succeed everytime.
I think it would be fun if they did a repeat challenge, like got the entire cast of Battle of the Sexes 1 or 2 or the Inferno 2 or Gauntlet 1 and did the same type of challenge maybe just different missions, or a different format of the same challenge, that would be fun. |
