Sparks hoping for X Factor appearance Plus a possible duet with a former British winner? 
American Idol 2007 winner Jordin Sparks has revealed talks have taken place regarding a performance on The X Factor live shows this autumn. Speaking on The Hits Radio, the star said: "We've been talking about it. I don't know if it's confirmed yet, so if I am it'll be just as a surprise to you as it is to me. "But I'm hoping - I'm trying to make that happen because I want to." The star also revealed how she is looking forward to a possible collabiration with former X Factor winner, Leona Lewis. Talking of the British singer: "I've met her a few times, she's so sweet. For the past year I've been wanting to do something with her, so hopefully we'll be able to make that happen soon. "I don't know if it's going to happen now or maybe in a couple of years. I know she's just finished up her second album which I'm really excited to go grab, so we'll see what happens." This weekend, Westlife and Michael Bublé will be giving live performances on The X Factor. |

I love them both, but I think a duet of theirs wouldn't be too good. Jordin has a powerful voice suited for uptempo songs, but Leona is a soft ballad girl.
I don't see how they could mesh

I've been trying to figure out why it did so poorly too. Anyone that owns her album Battlefield knows its a freaking smash and amazing, like you said. I
will go out on a limb and say one of the best AI albums up there with Breakaway and Some Hearts. But it has sold like 1/1000th of those two albums which is
sad.
I also HATED Jorbacca on Idol. I ended up skipping a lot of the season cause I was so distinterested. But her work post-Idol has been great and Battlefield is one of the best pop albums in such a long time. |

I have Battlefield and it's a great album. S.O.S isn't really a favorite for me - I hope her next singles do very well and push the album a bit. No
Parade would do well, IMO. I did think the album was a little rushed - it's very good but "Battlefield" is the song on there with the most oomph.
Hopefully they take some time to put some really good ones on her next one.
