I'm more excited about the reunion next week because all my faves are there: Carla, Stephan <3, Fabio, Tiffany, I think I saw Blaise, Marcel's going to get owned by someone, Harold's there. So excited!

This season is so predictable. I'm betting Kevin doesn't win and it will be one of the brothers or Robin.

I didn't particularly care for Mike I., but I thought either Jennifer or Robin should have been eliminated. I have a feeling if there were a third female
contestant, Robin would have been the one to PYKAG. At this point, Jennifer is getting by on past performances. Let's see how long she can keep this up.
Based on what I've been reading, Natalie Portman is not a "fan favorite". I've seen some of her movies and to me, she seems relatively
talented. Just wondering what she said or did that turned off the masses.

yeah, one of the brothers had his little saucepans at the table too. they didn't show him saucing, but probably because he didn't shake all over the
place.

I didn't think Natalie Portman was nasty or c.unty at all last night. I'm not overly thrilled with her as an actor but she was decent to the chefs last
night.

Yeah as long as you make that part of your presentation, I think it's okay. Marcel would do table-side foams at challenges and others in the past have
drizzled sauce table-side.
Robin should have said her garbanzo beans were a table-side garnish :) |

Why didn't she make sure that all of the judges got garbanzos? Stupid - if it really happened that way, especially since we were shown a few other chefs
making a point of telling the servers which ones were the judge plates.
I was so amused that Mike I didn't outlast Robin, although at this point keeping her around seems to be just pig-headed stubbornness on the judge's parts. Good tv? Sure, let's keep her another week and see whose head explodes! |

I'm really surprised there isn't more talk about "the little pri*k on the tip of my tongue..." exchange. I thot it was hilarious and was
completely shocked the censors let it through. I loved how red Tom turned with that last "editorial" comment. It was fun to see them with their hair
down, so to speak.

I think Jen has so thoroughly psyched herself out at this point, she may not make it to the final three, while Eli seems to have become more confident and
skillful with every challenge here lately. I think Kevin and Michael are a given for final two, with Bryan and Eli battling it out for the third slot.
I, too was wondering why more dairy, rice and pastas weren't used, so I watched the beginning of the challenge again last night, and it appeared they must have had limited access to a lot of ingredients, except what was in the vegetable cooler, without it having been made clear to the viewer. I also posted last night that I thought Jen served bread, but she didn't. I missed the restaurant wars episode last week, so I watched it last night before the new epi aired. Jen sliced a baguette for one her dishes last week, not last night. I was confused, but then again, that's nothing unusual. |

I'm giving Jen the benefit of the doubt that she is going to bounce back strong after these last couple of bad days. For those of you claiming Jen has
been terrible for WEEKS, she only landed in the bottom in the last 2 challenges, which probably occurred in a matter of 3-4 days of filming. She has been in
the top for the rest of the competition. So, I wouldn't count her out. She hit a slump for a couple of days and now she needs to just take a breath and
focus on the finish line. I'd rather her hit her low now and build up steam again into the finale, rather than a crash and burn at the very end like we
have seen some people do in past seasons where they choke in the last challenge (Blaise & poor Carla).

I loved all the blowjob jokes they threw around the table. The only thing you want to hear when eating soggy leeks.

It was clear to me that she takes a lot of pride in her sauces and up to that point they received high praise. I think she wanted to make sure it was right. She was really nervous. I didn't like Jen because I thought she was aloof. Now I think she is shy. She is extremely warm to the the chefs who leave. I'm rooting for her now. Did anyone catch Gail's reaction when she gave Mike a hug and a kiss when he eliminated? |

Gail calling Mike arrogant almost me laugh out loud. It was one of those pot meet kettle moments.

Mike I seems like the kind of person that smiles all the time, even when he is upset or worried. He smiles, laughs, makes light of it. Even when they told him
to pack his knives, he put a huge grin on his face. I don't think he is that big of a douche, just his way of coping is to look at the bright side of
everything. `'I'm fine, I'll be fine" he would say when he was in trouble. It's a weird personality trait but not as bad as whiners and
nit-pickers, bitchers and back-stabbers.

I get a feeling that Eli's food wasn't really that good last night (it certainly didn't LOOK all that appetizing), but Portman pushed for him to be
in the top group as a mitzvah for a fellow tribesman... Historically, Natalie is very, very pro-Jew...

why Jen & Robin stayed and not Mike I.....
Jen's dish was actually good and tasty, they just wanted MORE. At the table it was said it seemed more like a side dish (well...all of them to me are side dishes of steak!) BUT..it was Tom at the Judges table who belittled it futher by saying it was a "garnish". Robins dish was a mess...but pretty and had some elements they liked etc... Mike I dish wasn't tasty. Plain and simple it didn't taste good. The leakes were soggy on the outside and raw in the midlle. At the table all the comments were on how off putting the raw leak flavor was. Then...he called it a protien... then backpeddled... no protien I was going to make it look like a scallop etc... Well vegans don't want thier food even looking like something that was formeraly alive so that was a bad track from the start. Last he got all cocky to the judges. I really hope Jenn can pull her shit together...if not she should go. YUKON FTW!!!! |

I think Mike I. is that big of a douche. And has been from day one. He's a superior little misogynist with an overblown sense of his self-worth.
Good riddance.
It's just that his douchiness has been overshadowed by that flaming douchetard, Michael V. It must suck for the egotistical, pretty-boy chef to fail to a nice guy who understands that primarily, food just needs to taste better over looking flashy or being fantastically inventive. |

85% of viewers don't think Robin deserves to be there.
They're certainly saving her for a Bottom face-off with Eli, only to have whichever one survives get the boot the following week. |

You see the segment where the Chefs ate out? Kevin cracked me up... Ready for the Buffet. I have to say that the buffet at the Wynn is pretty amazing. I
can't afford the restaurants there, even the coffee shop is expensive.
