I must say this episode delivered! (IMHO anyways) I know a lot of people here love Ibis but I really think she is sorta dead weight on these things. Veronica
is better in competitions than her. Too bad she went out the way she did but it made for a great episode! I will say her delivery of "fuck you" to
Johnny was needed and AWESOME!
Veronica finagling her way out of the Ruins was just too funny! That bitch is like a cat with 9 lives! Sorry to see Wes go but I look forward to this meaning that Johnny, Evan and Kenny have to go to the Ruins! Funny enough, if Wes would've chosen Dunbar, he probably would've won. Who couldn't see Dunbar getting tangled once and freaking out?
The Champions team is certainly getting rid of dead weight by getting rid of Ibis. Most.overrated.Road.Ruler.ever! Derrick was right that she had pretty much been the worst of the girls left. The only hope Veronica has, though, is the Challengers winning and not picking her. Love or hate Susie or Veronica, they both work hard at playing the game. Susie aligns herself with the right people and puts herself in good positions. She's in a position where her team will pretty much never vote her in (and only went in when chosen by the other team, and she was chosen because she was perceived as strong). Also, while the plan didn't work, what she did was perfect by choosing to sit out when there were only 4 girls left, ensuring Veronica would at least be one of the three. As Evan pointed out, whether it was game play or not, Susie pretty much deserved to not be one of the three if she didn't want to be. Veronica has always been great at getting out of positions when she needed to. However, the old rules are out and she's struggled when there weren't challenges to save herself (Battle of the Sexes II, now). |
