I think Don Larsen might take issue with that.
I'm talking about Lee's total effort this post-season, not just last night's game.

Then yeah, I'll buy that. He's been outstanding.

so Cliff Lee is the best postseason pitcher ever, Phils have one won the ws after one game, and CC got his ass handed to him by allowing 2 er over 7 innings?
and then some of you wonder why I pick on the Philly fans.
I like how Fatcesa said that tonight's game is not a must win for the Yankees. to quote the greatest character in cinema history "your arrogance blinds you" if the Yanks go down 0-2, the series isn't coming back to NY. this isn't the '96 Yankees and the Phillies aren't the choking Braves. |

Who's pitching games 3 and 4 for the Phillies? Happ and Blanton?

Its insane how many people (columnists and otherwise) are conceding game 2 to the phillies.

Hamels is pitching gm 3 and Lee will probably pitch gm 4 if the Phillies aren't up 3-0
Phillies are 19-5 in the last two octobers so I have a difficult time envisioning them losing 4 out of 5 gms. Girardi is nuts if he puts Swisher in the lineup. the guy looks lost at the plate. |

rS also guaranteed the Phillies would make the ws before the playoffs.

Are you still babbling on about that, idiot? Get out of my thread. You're a loser who supports loser teams. Even the teams you bandwagon end up losing. You
disgust me.

rS supports highly successful franchises like the Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers.
they've won so many rings in recent memory that i've lost count. |
