I'm looking forward for the soundtrack. Russ hasn't finished all the songs, though, according to his twitter account. I'm excited for the album though, a survivor season never seems complete without it for some reason.

There was a piece of music used in the most recent episode that hasnt been used since the S1 finale. It was used at the end of the first ad break when russell
was fishing, i must get an audio rip of it. It brought back memories of when Survivor was just starting..

I only remember it because the S1 finale had really great music going on throughout the whole episode. If you watched it again im sure you will see what i
mean.
I am not sure if Russ Landau made this particular piece, but i dont think its on the original first season soundtrack (which by the way is IMPOSSIBLE to find?). The music that plays when Rich and Kelly leave for tribal is also really haunting. |

I do agree that Gabon was aweful. It sounded like a fan made intro (not that those are aweful) it's just Russ has a lot more professional equipement, and
can make these themes sound a lot better than they have been.

I'm fairly sure this has been asked a thousand times, but this is a big ass thread to search through...
..but does anyone know the name of the sad piano song that they have been playing since season 1?? Just recently they played it during the rainy Galu scene after the challenge where Russ got Medievac'd. |

Does anybody know the music that used to play after somebody won a challenge in the older seasons. It played all the time in Outback and Africa and sometimes in a few more seasons. We're not fucking magicians. If Russ Landau didn't put it on iTunes chances are there isn't an official copy out there. You can search through
iTunes yourself for free to see if the song you're thinking of is on an album, and then purchase said album.
