Posts: 1991 (10/29/09 9:47 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Rough ratings at this point: Liz MORM4?... ignored for the first half, then got nasty about the girls, then got hopeful (and against Jaison, we were probably supposed to be hopeful too), not enough insight for CP Jaison OTTN3...simplified as a lazy quitter Mick MORP2... all about bad luck etc. but sympathy definitely generated, enough to make MOR Natalie UTR2... decided to save her from N RussH CP(N?)5... straight business this ep, besides the few usual rude words--his intentions, in the end, seemed for the betterment of the entire tribe and not just him (although the "these idiots are going to cost me a million" comment sure isn't so nice..) Brett UTR1... remembered for being RC leader Dave MORN3... he got nasty, not enough for OTT Erik MOR(P?)3... his RC conf was inspiringish John INV? Kelly UTR1... her confessional was so quick I think it saved her of an N (really dislike this chick though) Laura CP4? MOR4?... curious if she was MOR4, but we know about her life back at home now and her strategy--may have just had to have been shown though Monica MOR3... closer to N than P, more narrative on Shambo Shambo OTT3... everyone had an opinion on her except her--that's 1-Dimensional Contenders 1. In his confessional he was talking about how their was a curse, then in his other scene, Jeff pointed out his curse precaution actions. Liz brought it up. That's the key scene showing why Natalie deserved to stay over Liz. Nat is bonding with the other team (as Russell observes), which you need to do when down in numbers. Liz is being short-sighted and bitchy. Nat P, Liz N or M I think there are a lot of Liz fans about.

On the note of visibility. I'm debating on giving Kelly a 2 (to distinguish her from Brett and John). If I do that I should bump Mick to a 3 (to distinguish him from Kelly). And if I do that, I should bump Jaison to a 4 (to distinguish him from Mick). So it'll be I bump them all up 1, or none. I feel comfy considering this since all 3 are at the maximum range for their visibility. If I bump them up 1, it'll be (listed in ascending order of VF) John - 1 Brett - 1 Kelly - 2 Natalie - 2 Mick - 3 Dave - 3 Monica - 3 Shambo - 3 Erik - 3 Jaison - 4 Laura - 4 Liz - 4 Russell - 5

Liz brought it up. No, it isn't, because is was instantly rebutted as P from Russ saying that it was smart for her to make bonds with the other tribe. And Liz was called stupid again. Liz comes out badly in that scene, Natalie comes out well. ETA: And on your whole vis bumping thing, I really remember more of what Natalie did then what Mick did, I remember the whole necklace fiasco and that's it. It was a "good" N, given that although he told Shambo to shut up a dozen times, and also said she was dim, the viewer tends to agree with him. Just because the editors make snarky comments accurate doesn't remove the snark quotient. It in no way diminishes Dave's chances of winning - considering his chances were zero before this episode and you can't get lower than zero.
