Dave's one-sided feud with Shambo is the best since Clay's with Jan and the highlight of this season for me. He just so clearly despises her, it's
inspiring. I wonder if there was a valid reason for him wanting Brett to be the leader so badly, but you know, I really hope it was purely an effort to
disagree with and belittle Shambo. That would warm my heart.

out...then they target Brett instead of Erik

The boys think Shambo is their puppet. She's letting them think that--she doesn't care a thing about being the leader, but she will play along if that
is what they want.
And that business about "No, no, it's Brett"--We hardly even know Brett. Is he our invisible S 19 winner? Is he a leader within that tribe, but we just haven't even seen it? It seems to me that Erik is more of the subtle leader. He pushes leadership duties to others--Russell, Shambo, Brett--wisely I might add. |
