Well, it finally happened. An Idol winner outside of the USA finally scored a significant hit on the Billboard charts. Agnes Carlsson's "Release
Me" is No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart (the new chart is released tomorrow, and I'm not sure if it will stay at the top), ahead of
"Million Dollar Bill" by Whitney Houston, "Paparazzi" by Lady GaGa, and even "S.O.S. (Let the Music Play" by Jordin Sparks.
Hopefully, this song can cross over into the mainstream Billboard Hot 100. Here's the video for the song:

She's been labeled Sweden's Leona Lewis, that's probs why you find her similar looking to Leona (even tho she won before Leona). |

That's a pretty rocking song. She does kind of remind me of Leona but without that weird vibrato and not as horse facey.

Yeah Floortje is good too. Except she's from Dutch Idols and not Swedish Idol and she lost to Raffaela Paton and not Agnes.
