If atypical wants to cheat and not be called out on it, if atypical wants to be a coward and not be called out on it, then tell him Urban said, "not gonna happen." You will be called out for being a cheater and a coward. And if you're going to be the last person to know that, then so be it.

First off in the purest form of the thought, yes it is. However, cheating has a reference point and ATMs game had no reference point for which the alleged cheating violation occurred. While there is an assumed one, there is no true game's benchmark set by ATM. You can't cheat if you have no rules. It's a free-for-all. I think you should agree that the small number of games involved over the entire season easily falls in the 3% variance for the standard deviation on the effect of the overall winning percentage and overall standings of the league come January or whenever this thing ends and will ultimately have NO effect on the outcome.

Taking picks in the middle of games, even after points have been scored, is cheating.

And don't tell me this is a rule because atypical has been inconsistent in his cheating, taking some mid-game picks and denying others.

And you're apologizing for atypical, saying you know he's cheating but his cheating won't affect the outcome of the game. That doesn't even make sense because I have the highest score but am not counted on his ranking.

If you know you have the highest score why do you care whether he includes you in his rankings, and if you are winning why do you care about whether someone is cheating because you aren't affected. Anyways, you don't win shit in this game, so why is it such a big deal.

But you called him on it when it doesn't even really effect you, and the people who it might have effected don't seem to care, wouldnt it have made more sense to stop then. It's his game and he gave you a chance to play and he had the right to remove you from his game.

UC, while I believe your record for picks is commendable I feel assured that you are not leading. The only consistent way would seem to be by percentage. For weeks you and I have probably had similiar picks and I'm not leading in percentage won.

As for the cheating remark, again don't twist the words. You can't cheat if you don't have a reference and there are no rules so you lose the argument right there. Then when I broached the subject of the over all effect from what I thought you could understand - math and statistical analysis, you failed that. Even IF one (even ATM himself) were to agree it was cheating .... you lose. This is why you were ignored in the first place and may likely be restored to that again. Sad because it is apparent that you like football even if you do like California. Is that your alumn?

Saying atypical can't cheat because there are no rules is assinine and imbecilic when approached with critical thought. If atypical wanted to he could take tens of points off certain people's scores at the end and crown himself 'winner' and he wouldn't be "cheating" according to your logic. The only reason a predictions game has any integrity whatsoever is that picks are taken in a timely manner and people's scores are counted fairly. If you're overturning the game's integrity by being inconsistent in who you're allowing to pick, allowing some to pick in the middle of games, and completely erasing people's scores, then there's no question you're cheating.

I'm winning atypical's game right now if I were counted. Winning, as I see it, is having called the highest number of games correctly. Judging by percentage is non-sensical because one would have to only name one correct game and have 100%. Or if that was too obvious, just make calls on only the most lopsided games or lopsided weeks.

I never get excited by Virginia Tech. They always start off hot and garner a lot of media attention. Then around the middle of the season, they start to fade and get upset once or twice.

Except for that championship game season with Michael Vick, they've been pulling the same tired act since their big east seasons. They're the football equivalent of Buffalo's snowfall pace. Buffalo always gathers a lot of attention by getting hit by a huge early snowfall. Than Lake Erie freezes over and by the end of the season, Syracuse has gotten hammered by fifty more inches of snow.

Bullshit. By your logic ("As I see it"), someone could pick the most wins AND most losses and still be "the winner?" Stop smoking that Napa Valley weed because people aren't selecting games based on difficulty and omitting tough games. That's a different game that I believe CRA continues to change your name in to match your demeanor. No one is playing lopsided weeks either. ATM's game this year doesn't mention how a winner is picked or known so it's a free for all there too. But I would say that someone is going to win with "most wins" and someone with "best winning percentage" and even someone with "most weekly pool wins" (beating everyone esle's picks during the week). And again, you aren't leading in any of them.

I'm destroying the college football pickup league I am in. I have a simple strategy. I enter my picks after the game is over. So far I'm .999 for the season. I missed the Boise State Hawaii game since I fell asleep.

Then again, I'm the only one in my league and I make the rules, namely none. Well, I did set up up some preconditions. Any user with the initials UC and those who whined are banned on sight.

Best league ever.
