You have experience as an entertainer and would be moving out here with your eyes open. There's a big difference between "OMG, I've been on BB, I'm going to move to Hollywood and become famous!" and "It's time for a change, let's see what opportunities I can find out there." There's a lot of opportunity out here for people with talent and drive. It's just a matter of having the right attitude and finding the right niche. If that's something you pursue I wish you the best of luck and truly hope something comes of it for you.

You're young, have a young family. If every star in LA thought about not following their dreams because there were already bigger stars there then we'd have no new stars. I say, poke the embers a little to see if they flame. Put out feelers, make a couple of trial trips out there, find an agent, whatever. But at least you won't grow to be an old man with regrets. (I say that as an old lady with regrets.) ;-)
