see I liked Meredith because I could relate to her the most.Jumping in a little late, but I liked twisty Meredith and I like "now that she's whole" Meredith. She never annoyed me. I don't get annoyed easily. It irks me when a lame storyline is drawn out too long, but I don't get annoyed by characters too much. I like Arizona and I like Callie. I am indifferent to the Arizona/Callie relationship though. |

I actually liked this episode, except for the ridiculously irresponsible "stand around doing nothing for 10 hours with the guy wide open and under anesthesia on the table" part. And then after being out for 20 hours the guy's all bright eyed and bushy-tailed chatting with St. Derek.

Yeah Christina's mother was around when she was supposed to be marrying Burke.
Her father is dead. However as far as I can remember Christina's step-father is/was Jewish and I don't know if the step-father is dead or if her biological father is dead, or both, or if she never knew the real father. Okay, I found this info on Wiki: Cristina Yang is a doctor of Korean descent and a native of Beverly Hills, California. Raised Jewish (her mother converted upon re-marriage to oral surgeon Saul Rubenstein), she has at times referred to herself as Jewish, although she believes only in science and is a strong atheist, implying that she is likely a Humanistic Jew. Her biological father died when she was nine years old in a car accident, where she watched him bleed out before help arrived. She has a B.A. from Smith College, a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine, graduating first in her class. She is fluent in Korean and French.So her step-father is the Jewish one, Saul Rubenstein and her biological father is the one who died when she was a kid. The Jewish step-father is still alive but we've never seen him on the show, weird that he wouldn't be at her wedding but he probably was and we just didn't see him. |
