Oh I know, I was just complimenting you. Neither will I. Let's not ruin two threads now. |

STFU about it then.
If he played again today, I bet he'd be a very solid competitor / major threat. Isn't that the definition of underrated? Um, actually it's...not. At all. |

I guess I should explain some of my picks.
S1-Stacy. For being in the first season, she was a decent gamer. She was the one who tried to pull in an all girls alliance to take out Rudy, and then tried to pull in Sean and Dirk in episode 3. Too bad for her Sue screwed it up for her. Joel-Again tried to make an alliance. S3-Carl. I thought Carl again was a decent gamer. He was also the one who took the initiative in trying to pull Silas over. And it seems like he only got voted out not because of being obnoxious and overbearing (Frank/Linda) but because of his income. (although I had heard the portrayal might not be accurate, so I could be wrong). S4-Sean. Did just as much work as Rob and Vee in the alliance. Worked with Kathy in overturning Rotu 4. S6-Jeanne. I thought she was quite savvy, in trying to set up Deena as a figurehead leader, in that she would fail. I think that's the first time that was attempted? Too bad it completely backfired, lol. S7-Trish. She was really perceptive. She was also in the Trish/Christa/Sandra/Rupert/Jon Alliance in the beginning. I liked how she wasn't afraid to take out Rupert, and being perceptive that Rupert is way too powerful. She should have waited one episode later. S9-Julie. For someone who was in a self-destructing alliance, I was quite amazed how far she survived. I was somewhat impressed that her and Twila managed to convince the guys that they were on their side. Its also interesting how she ends up aligning with people whom she was on the opposite side (Twila, Leanne, Ami....and Chris) S10-Jenn. From what I remember on the Palau insider, the girl was really trying hard to break the bonds of Ian and Katie. I think it was a reward challenge when Ian didn't take Katie. There was an insider clip of Jenn trying to persuade Katie to possibly ditching Ian, saying that Ian is like Katie's ex-boyfriend. S13-Becky. I already posted her reason. S14-Stacy. Stacy did have several decent gameplays. Her most noticeable one was suggesting to blindside Edgardo. That was an incredibly smart move. What is also interesting is that despite having conflict with Dreamz and Cassandra, she ended up aligning with them post-merge. She was close in blindsiding Yau-man...and her little I give up speech to Earl was really good. Too bad she screwed up by opening her mouth in tribal council. S15-Erik. I think he had a good grasp of the game. What I did appreciate him was him calling people out in each tribal council, in trying to convince the bottom of the totem pole people (Denise) to switch. Too bad that was in vain. |

Kim Johnson. Her game was equal to Ethan's, won two Immunities, and was as likeable as Ethan imo. She did very well for a 57-Year old Grandmother. (Take
that, Gillian!!)

Erik from China was not an underrated player. He was an idiot. Anyone would have tried to convince Denise flip. Does not deserve any credit. He voted for
Peih-Gee during the whole James ordeal, thus if James played the idol she would have been ousted instead of Todd. He was disappointed in Jaime and Peih-Gee for
throwing the challenge etc.

I'd like to throw Alicia out there...especially in ASS, but also in Outback.
She got herself in a really good position in the Outback, and had Jeff stayed on the pole, Kucha would be final five with A/J/N outlasting R/E. Then in ASS, she thought that she and Tom would flip to Kathy/Lex/Shii Ann/Jerri at the merge until Lex fucked things up. Then she lasted until the final 7 where she would've made it further if Shii Ann hadn't won a fluke immunity challenge. She had a good alliance with Amber and Tom, and until Rob screwed over his own game by taking Sabogas to the final 4, Alicia was sitting pretty. All the while she made astute observations about the game, sent a letter to Saboga warning them about Tom/Ethan/Lex...she was a sharp player that doesn't get respect because she "bent over and let Romber win." If anything, Alicia's game was hampered by horrible gameplay from Lex and a bad decision from Rob. |
