Granted, our junior year we did fun stuff like badminton, ping pong, archery and lifesaving but still, we had to take 3 years.

I had gym 2 or 3 times a week for an hour (one week it was Mon, Wed, Fri and the next it was Tues, Thurs) for a three years. And we actually had to do stuff!

And, it didn't matter how many gym classes the kids were forced to take, some of the heftier redneck gals would just sit on the ground and refuse to participate. The teachers prob passed them just to get them the hell out of their way.
