I'd tie the tappers for best solos, followed by Noelle (good moves and emotional connection to the music).
Victor's solo was weak. Yeah, he's got good technique. But, I saw next to no musicality nor creativity in that 30 secs of default contemp dancer moves. |

Hmm.. looks like spoilers were right! Definitely think that they did pick the bottom 4 correctly. I could have seen Channing in the bottom as well.
Did anyone else feel very uncomfortable with Jakob kissing a girl? just looked soooooo wrong on him. Anyone notice when Jakob kicks his upper body does not budge, I think that is what makes his jumps and kicks look so incredible. Nappy Tabs actually did a decent routine tonight, felt like hip hop. I cracked up at Adam's response. He definitely is a plus on this show. And kudos to him for criticizing the choreographers, they aren't always perfect either. I really enjoyed Stacey's routine, and Legacy surprised the hell out of me. Kathryn was just a big ok, she was no Katee doing contemporary. Stacey usually doesn't overdo the routines, she just has nice moments with a strong storyline. And Ellenore was great! ecstatic my girl pulled off the Argentine Tango. Again by comparison to Janette, no where near, but she did pretty damn fine. I enjoyed Wade's routine and Pauline stood out over Peter for me And have to say, am glad that tappers left. The tap sound drowning out the music was too annoying for words. How tragic for Philip to go through a parents death and work through this show. No wonder he wasn't on his mark for the routine. |
