I am coming out of lurkdom to say how much I loved this show. I want to see it again. I cannot think of the last time I felt that way about a tv show, probably early Survivor seasons.
I was a huge fan of the original V and loved how this show was so different while keeping the basic premise of the old show. I liked the pace too- no dilly-dallying around about the true nature and intention of the visitors.
Does anyone recall if The V's could disguise themselves as family pets in the old series? I think I'd like to see that.
I felt there was chemistry between Erica and the priest.
My quibbles- the applause by the crowd seemed wrong and the younger priest not being able to believe that God could have created aliens. I did grow up Catholic and I seem to recall being taught that humans were unique and there were no others like us so perhaps that is it. Still, the older priest/Vatican accepted it tho there did seem to be an element of opportunism in that.

I'd love to see some of the smaller V's disguise themselves as stray dogs that get taken in/adopted and infiltrate people's homes that way. The resistance probably would be suspicious of people but not pets.
