I just got around to watching Monday's show right now...I felt bad for poor Mark and was so happy that Kelly pulled things together. Team Tango was
awesome. And as much as I hate him, Aaron's jive was amazing.
Now that Mark is gone, the only person left on this show that I like, celeb or pro is Kelly. So hopefully she will at least last past next week, if she gets halfway decent scores she should at least be able to outlast Aaron who has zero fans. Its probably going to be a Mya, Joanna and Donny finale, talk about boring. |

The Donny haterz crack me up. As if being a nice guy is something to hate. Then there's those who say he's pandering to the judges. Um hello...it's
a competition. He's supposed to listen to what they say and react to it.

Donny does seem like a little much. His "modesty", his jokes, his whole demeanor just seems so over the top and campy. It seems fake...

Donny's "problem" is that he's too nice. There's never been a scandal about him, he's charming, he's still good looking, he can
sing, he can dance, he's still married, and he's never been on drugs. He's great on stage and as a performer, but he's too boring as a reality
show contestant. Marie had the divorce, the anorexia, and a little bit of the batshit crazy to her.
Donny doesn't get points for being an excellent dancer, a controversial person, or overly cute/hot. He gets points for being pure cheese. The cheese points don't translate well to those who weren't brought up during the Osmond's prime, which are (probably) many of the posters on here. I don't think he's trying too hard, it's just the way he is. |

^ That's a good point. People that didn't grow up with the Osmonds have no idea that the goody-two-shoes image is real. That's who they are. Corny
jokes are all they know and tell. I doubt Donny's ever uttered the F-Word or if he did he probably prayed about it. He grew up in the 70s with a strict
Mormon upbringing, got married early, had a mess of kids, stayed married, etc. He's not fake...that's him. I would be suspect as well if I did not know
all of this.

Kelly and Donny are probably the two most recognizable - and even though I'm 40 something, I know who Aaron Carter is. = Depends on who's watching, and
who's voting. But my bet is Kelly and Donny will end up in the F3.

Swim, are you nuts? Kelly isn't recognizable the way Nicole Richie isn't recognizable. I remember once someone asked "Who is Lionel Richie?"
and someone answered "He's Nicole Richie's dad." I'm sure there are those in the younger generations that know of Kelly as much as they
do her parents.

Kelly has never really made a career for herself aside from being grouped with her parents on a reality show. Nicole Richie did and you basically made my
arguement for me. People ask "Who is Lionel Richie?" (I'd love to know of these supposed idiots who say this) but I doubt anyone really
doesn't know of Ozzy or Sharon before they know of Kelly
