Morgan doesn't impress me (never has). I don't like the character (or the actor). Regardless of the types of cops we know, or the type of cop/agent he
is representing, I think he is a poor choice to run any sort of division.

Plus AJ Cook is Canookian, from Whitby..... I am trying to ignore her being a devout Mormon.

Jareau already has an important, time consuming job for the team and she's very good at it. Why would they pull her from that to lead? They need her to do
what she already does. Remember what a disaster the temp replacement for her was?
Prentiss would have been a good choice but she's a relative newcomer and I think putting her in charge would have strained things with the group. Also, Strauss would never have gone for Prentiss being put in charge after she refused to spy on the team for her. Besides she and Jareau would have wanted to make the change permanent whereas we already have Morgan insisting that it be temporary. Hopefully this means that the Foyet storyline will come to a close soon. They aren't going to mess with the dynamics of the group for too long in case it messes up ratings. |

They could have made Rossi the new boss, he has the most experience followed by Prentice, she had 10 years in the FBI before joining this unit.

Rossi LEFT the BAU and Bureau and cashed out for fame and fortune. He has only been back for two years. Prentiss was always underused by the FBI until she
hounded Hotch and convinced him she was BAU material. Her CV is mediocre until joining the BAU three years ago.
JJ still is 3 steps up on any candidate. The only negative is the new mother part. I still don't see anything that makes Morgan management material. NADA! |

The reason it is Morgan is because of seniority in the group. Although JJ is perfectly capable, she has a child and doen't seem to have the feild
experience that Morgan does. Besisdes do you think Hotch could live with himself if JJ had to be separated from her kid like he is from his. Morgan has no
attachments and seniority that's all!

JJ has no field experience, she is a psychologist who evaluates cases and is a liason between BAU and victims/families, I was surprised to see her even
carrying a gun last epi. Might as well make Henrietta Hippo (Garcia) boss. At least Morgon has field experience and he was a Chi-town pig for a while not to
mention he seems like he gets along well socially.

Morgan was the only one Hotchner would have even considered.

She has much more field experience in the BAU than anyone, excluding Rossi and Hotch. Her ability to manage/massage media is probably the most valuable skill that 99% of LE require help in today. |

I always thought of her as the teams secretary, the broad who answers the phone and passes a case along, shit, she can't decide if a case gets picked up,
that decision still belongs to "I have stick in my ass" Hotch. Never really considered her part of the team, basically an auxillary like Garcia.

Well, I think she's been in on the action a lot...like the episode when she was with Reid and he got captured and beaten/tortured.
I also think she's been looking especially yummy lately...like her bangs. what was the question? |

the question was - what do you think of JJ's new hairdo?

How many times can you fit enucleation, enucleator, enucleate into a sentence? That's a word I don't care to hear for a while. |

Am I he only one who thought it improbable that mellonballer who was this socially withdrawn, could operate with such confidence in public places?
Morgan needs to dress like a Fed... like Hotch. There is a reason why Feds in all Western countries dress like they do. Projection of a specific image of the job to the public. The black shirt unbuttoned to the chest is definitely not FBI management. I had a couple pickled eggs with lunch. I thought of the eyes and laughed. |
