I can't believe that you people like this season. The best character on this show, Brooke, has zero storyline. Really how many times do we have to relive
that she is insecure when it comes to relationships. Can't the writers just make her happy? For once! I actually like Brooke when she doesn't have a
guy in her life. Jamie has gotten annoying. I could careless about Clay. How many times is Nathan going to screw up? Laguna Beach boy/ singing chick suck. And
no one cares about Mouth.
The James sisters have been awesome this season. Please have a Haley/Brooke scene every episode. Quinn actually doesn't suck. Probably the best new addition to this show since Rachel. Oh and bring back the other sister too! |

The chick who plays Brooke can't act. She use to be the second worst. The worst was Peyton, leaving last season.
The newer cast pretty much out act every cast member except Dan and far behind that .... Nathan. |

Robert Buckley was playing a damaged person. I think his character is supposed to be as contradictory as his character has been. I think it was the writing,
and plotline, not Buckley's acting. He certainly is no plodding Lucas, THANK GAWD!!!

This season is fun. It's full on "guilty pleasure" television. I often defend this show because I know what it can be and often has been in terms
of true quality.
... This season isn't that! That doesn't make it bad however. There is still some real intriguing stuff (to go along with the utter crap that is anything Millie and Alex... although HOT DAMN is that girl gorgeous) a lot of "shock and awe", and some real nice performances being delivered (see Nathan/Hayley, DanChel). The show is doing what everyone expects it to do, and doing it well. |

First off, Paul Johansson (Dan Scott) is an incredible actor. It is a shame that his great work will never be truly recognized.
I presume that this is Antwon Tanner (Skills) swan song as he goes on to deal with his criminal charges. I give the show and CW full credit for sticking by Antwon the way they did, even after he pleaded guilty. Overall, this was a unique episode of not only OTH, but television in general. For every great Dan Scott speech, there was a scene of just horrible acting. For every hilarious line, there was another that you just couldn't believe would make it onto network. There were camera zooms!!! It was something. |
