He had one tiny fluff confessional, a couple sentences, no strategy talk, no insight, no TCQ's, no personal relationships highlighted. MICK ISN'T OUR WINNER! It's between Russell H. and Natalie for me now, and Jaison might make a reappearance, although he doesn't seem like a winner, just an end-gamer.

Oh, and if Russell H. wins, I was the only one to correctly call it before the merge episode. I'm the 9% on the Contenders chart for last week for him, and it was the penultimate merge episode with only 1 winner choice to vote for. I guess we'll see. I'm so glad I didn't settle for Mick.

For me, I feel stronger in my Mick choice than ever. This was a MINDFUCK episode: SO much going on. There was tons of focus on the "Foa Foas", which means Mick was in the centre action; however, he was hidden (and you can tell it wasn't a neglectful edit either). He got a confessional during the feast/initial meet up (which both JT and Bob got). With RussH being such a character, and Natalie being key in the flip, and Jaison being the target, I don't think there was much reason to show Mick. I feel great in my pick and will stick with it. Mick is my official Merge pick. I encourage those who really want to eliminate Mick because they don't want him to win to do so: it'll give those who stuck by Edgic principles a more satisfying victory at the finale. :) However, if this is the story of how Russ H wins, I wouldn't be shocked; but him winning is not Edgic--a Mick win would be.

No mention of Mick or Jaison in the recap -Russel shown as very confident in possible merge, Jaison/Mick say stuff when they do a tribal strategy talk, Jaison is louder here -That scene with Russel getting the grapes fed to him as he said 'who gets the grapes fed to him, the king' was really OTT, but I thought it was kind of hilarious. -So far Foa Foa is going with Russel's plan, Natalie and Jaison shown going off with someone alone to talk, while Mick and Russel stay with the group having the picnic. -Natalie gets a strategy confessional about Laura, wow, best one of the nonRussel's so far. -So far (20 minutes in) we just see mostly Russel, and going into the commercial break he had another winnerish quote about Babe Ruth striking out more then anyone else and scoring the most home runs and needing to strike out to score the home runs, that seems to reflect how things are going for him right now in the merge. So far Jaison is getting more then Mick this episode. -About to watch the IC, so far there's been no wrenches thrown in Russel's plan (it's all his plan), I guess chaos starts after the IC. Mick is almost INV so far, even Natalie has been more visible then him (by a tad). -No surprise that Laura wins immunity, now chaos begins. -So after Russel became a target Natalie and Jaison (but more Natalie) took over the gaming for Foa Foa, and they shockingly got 10 of the 12 votes on their side. -The scene where Erik was telling Jaison/MickNatalie how to vote just couldn't help but make me think about what Russel has been saying about them being his little puppets/zombies, kind of like they were sitting duck lines up in a row waiting for their heads to be cut off. -Ok so Mick was basically INV this episode, so I guess it's either Russel or Natalie who wins probably. -Seems like right now the edit is all about how Russel manages to survive in the merge, again I thought Russel may have been P this episode, the TC footage especially struck me as positive with how Jeff said you had to admire his attitude.

And Russhole is STILL dominating the edit. And that's it. All you bandwagon jumpers can stop with the "ooh, Jaison's back in it !" and "it's either Nat or Russhole, Mick's out now". We cannot eliminate Mick for a weak merge episode, yet completely disregard Russhole's opening OTTNN and Nat's INV and lack of vis for the first SEVERAL episodes and Jaison's whining and threats to quit the game. Hell, Monica recieved a good merge episode with a TCQ, confessionals, tonnes of SPV and a head-to-head with Russhole. She's OBVIOUSLY the winner, right ?
