They'll simply plant new idol(s) next week. Don't celebrate too hard. |

Idols have brought nothing to the game in ages, so they should just do away with the idea completely.

I'm happy, at least, that for two seasons in a row Idols have basically been a non-factor despite being a part of the game.

I like the HII; it reveals interesting facets of people's gameplay and personality.
It certainly isn't a non-factor. Its influence on the game is more subtle than some of you would prefer I guess. Whether you find it amusing or frustrating depends on (a) whether or not you like the person who has it and (b) whether you like how it's handled by that person. e.t.a. - chad, I think Russell will do his damnedest to find it again without being given a clue. |

I hope they don't plant another one. |

Without the idol, Yau would have got the boot and Cassandra could have went on to win it all. Ahh, what could have been

X It makes for interesting boots more often than not, but it's not worth the huge hit in character development.

AllMenAreIslands wrote: It's been very disappointing. I'm sure the producers love Russel because he brings a new element to a game that is virtually atrophied from stagnation. I'm pretty sure he won't be voted out next week since the producers never show a preview that becomes reality and the preview suggests Russel will go. But he has played the game foolishly - especially this episode. And it looks like he has painted himself in a corner and will be leaving the week after next or very soon after that. It's really a shame because had he kept his mouth shut a little more and not revealed the HII to so many people before he ever established any trust with them, he might have had some winning strategy. As it turns out, he played like a dumbass. |

The China, Micronesia, Gabon and Tocantins seasons would have been more or less the same without them, and would have no doubt improved all of them. For one, Parvati would have had to struggle more in Micronesia, which would more honestly underline her gameplay ability. |

F6-Amanda F5-Erik(Yes, Natalie and Alexis give up their lead to get rid of this big challenge threat) F4-Cirie or Alexis F3-Cirie or Alexis Based on challenge statistics, Parvati is a better challenge performer then Cirie, Natalie or Alexis. This strongly hints at her winning the last challenge. She probably takes Natalie. Eliza: Parvati Ozzy:Natalie Jason:Parvati James:Natalie Amanda:Parvati Erik:Natalie Cirie:Parvati Alexis: Parvati, based on what she will "do" with the money. It's not a foolproof speculation, but a solid one if I say so myself. |

There was no way in hell Natalie tries to have him give it to her if the fans have the numbers. Cirie goes at 5. Erik will leave the first time he doesn't win immunity, and Parvati will go if he does. The finals consists of Natalie and Alexis barring an immunity win. Now, even if your theory works out, a jury vote between Parvati and Natalie is an easy win for the fan. Eliza has said countless times her thread that she was rooting for the fans (on the show, in Ponderosa clips, in her thread), Ozzy and James despised Parv, Alexis was her best friend from day one (that is ridiculous if you really don't think she would vote for Natalie). That's 4 votes right there, Parv has Amanda and Cirie for sure. Jason didn't know that Natalie was behind his boot (she didn't vote for him), and he thought they were friends. If Natalie doesn't take out Erik in such a way that happened on the show, he would definitely vote for his fellow fan. I'm not 100% on Erik and Jason, but at the very least, Natalie has a tie. |
